<laugh> Have you seen the BBC news report about Gaza/Gazza? That’s a good one.

Anyway, this war did start on the 7th October. I know they’ve been continuously fighting of some sorts forever but that terrorist attack on the Israeli citizens started what’s happening now in Gaza.

No, but i'll check it out <ok>

And on the second point I disagree, Israel had been bombing Gaza way before 7th Oct. That Hamas attack was horrendous, but it was in retaliation. Israel's response is also retaliation. The whole thing is ****ed up.

But then Hamas have been sending rockets into Israel way before 7th October. The Hamas terrorist attack started what is happening now or were Israel about go to the lengths that they’re now.

It's tit for tat that's been going on for donkeys.

The sad thing about it is that I genuinely don't think Netanyahu gives a **** about those Israeli's who died, it's almost like he's revelled in it so that he can unleash hell on the Palestinians.

Psychopaths running the world mate :(

Mate ... Israel's response is terrorism - state sponsored terrorism ... 6,000 dead women and children is neither self defence nor a conventional war ... it is calculated decimation of a particular population in a foreign country ...

    Yep, it is Terrorism

As I mentioned, if Hamas was flattening Tel Aviv and bombing schools and hospitals it would be labelled as another Holocaust.

Since 2008, deaths from those rockets etc, combined with the deaths on October 7th total just over 1,700 Israelis - terrible indeed - however ... Israel has slaughtered over double that number in Palestinian children alone since October 7th... and the total number of Palestinian deaths since 2008 is now around the 20,000 mark, if not more ...

It has now been proved that Hamas are using refugee camps, hospitals etc, to hide away. Israel are going to hit them targets and take the collateral damage that comes with it. The other option is allow to these terrorists to become untouchable by allowing these tunnels not to be hit. So…

You only blame Israel for these kids deaths. Why don’t you blame Hamas for putting them in that position and using them as human shields? What about the Palestinian parents who have put their kids in the line of fire allowing them to be blown up? If an invading army give me a week to get out the North telling me it was going to be an active war zone, I’d take my kids and leave. There’s a tiny chance we could be hit heading south. Stay where we are and it’s almost guaranteed at some point me and/or the kids are getting a direct hit. It beggars belief that some parents have taken that option so they need to take blame as well.

Hamas may well be doing that - but it's Israel doing the killing ... and you can't justify those deaths as collateral damage in this world or the next ...

The reality is that Hamas is an armed militia with rockets, RPGs, drones mines and machine guns ... the Israeli war machine has all of those plus fighter jets, helicopters, Tanks, other armed vehicles, the Iron dome missile defence system and US Naval support ...

... with that military advantage there is absolutely no necessity to inflict the number of civilian casualties that have happened ...

... as for taking your kids and running - read the latest BBC update - a Palestinian kid who lost his whole familh and Uncle in an Israeli strike on a civilian convoy that was obeying the Israeli directive to go South ... he also lost one of his legs ... but it's just self defence eh?

    I wasn't being serious Libby lad <laugh>

... but on a serious note - they needed £500k to come out of Administration... Emily Heskey contributed £100k out of his own pocket and never sought any publicity... what a guy... <cheers>

No mate - he was the figurehead behind the campaign so contributed in that sense ... but has quite deep pockets.... allegedly.

Emile's quite a humble lad - when he was almost forced to admit what he'd done after the Paps got hold of it he just said, to paraphrase, without the chance that LCFC gave him he'd never have achieved much in life ...

Interesting fact - Emile Heskey and Gary Lineker both went to City Boys Grammar School in Leicester - two England Centre Forwards years apart ... what are the odds?

I only listen to Tory governments and they say its self defence, so I'm following the party line.

I've already explained about Hamas using their civilians as shields. Israel have two options. Let Hamas know if they get to the tunnels they're safe and will be able to attack Israel again in the future. Or, smash them in the tunnels and just accept the collateral damage that comes with it. If I was in their position, I'd go with the latter.

I've already said, head south and there's a small chance you'll be hit. Stay where you are and it's only a matter of time before you and the kids are bombed. Israel give them a week to get out. They've not done it, the parents need to carry responsibility for their kids being killed in that instance.

On the 7th October the IDF seen the raped bodies of Israeli women. Babies shot in the ****ing head. I can understand where the soldiers heads will be at, at the moment. Payback.

The kids are collateral damage in an area they've been told to get out of. I dont believe for a second they're targeting kids, but if kids are where a target is then that's on Hamas and again the Palestinian parents for leaving them in that position.

I remember at the beginning of this year, Gessa did the celebrity dead poll thread, the reason I raise that here is because I put two sky journalists on the list, after their brave reporting on what was happening in Ukraine, one of the reporters actually coming under fire from an ambush.

What struck me at the time, was the women and children, the old people, down in basements. Pitch black, no electricity, food or water, waiting for supplies to come through, no medical help. Cramped conditions just trying to stay alive, but this was not Gaza .

I really felt for those people, what would I do in their situation, especially when it comes to medical supplies that allow you to keep an existence in this life. What would I do in their situation, it don't bear thinking about.

I also think of what happened in Mauripol, I've already posted links with probably death tolls reaching 100,000, mostly ignored not just on here but by the media. Ok the media couldn't get in because it was getting wiped off the map.

But let's not kid ourselves these are not the only atrocities of the 21st Century, but for some reason when it comes to Israel and the Jewish community, everyone has suddenly found their voice, and are very much alive when it came to Gaza.

Nothing will convince me otherwise that some posters are not just anti Israel, I'd actually go as far as to say some are anti Jew, because it is clearly running deeper than they let on.

Atrocities are atrocities are atrocities, including what we see are Gaza - I do ask myself, why couldn't they wait, why did they have to take the Hamas leader out there and then.

Truth be known though, no one really cares, they only care about their stupid opinions, ego's, their own self worth, they didn't give a shhite about what was going on in Mauripol no more than they pretend to care now, faux rage.

They'll have excuses, because they always do and will always notice when it's Israel.
