Love you too mate - but unlike Spurly I'm not Muslim ... ... and I'm certainly not anti-Jewish - but I am anti-Israeli government fragrant and continued breaching of International Law...
Probably the only people who don't have an ancestral claim to the lands in Palestine/Israel are the European Jews who emigrated there after the war. Not without Irony that Jews, Muslims and Jewish Arabs lived relatively peacefully alongside each other until then
Should probably **** off home back to Britain then Anyway, you know the point I'm making, and it's deliberately tongue in cheek to highlight how all of these lands don't 'belong' but have evolved over time.
Irish is my prejudice. Dirty horrible little potato dodgers. They’ve done nothing but cause trouble and stab their hosts in the back wherever they’ve been taken in around the world. Bad people.
Anyway mate, this article is well worth a read. It touches on what I mentioned above where Jews and Arabs lived alongside each other prior to the War. It was never really a religious schism, it was more about European immigrants who wanted to supress the native population. Which then gave rise to Fundamentalist Zionism and Arab Nationalism Here's an excerpt He quotes the memoirs of Ya’akov Elazar from Jerusalem, who remembers how “the Muslim women cooperated respectfully with the customs of the Jewish religion…the Muslim neighbors allowed the Jewish women to pump water necessary before the Sabbath.” Klein also describes how some Muslims even joined their Jewish neighbors in reciting religious prayers. He describes the cheder (a traditional elementary school where the basics of Judaism and the Hebrew language were taught) run by Hacham Gershon in the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah, where Arab parents brought their children so that they would learn how to behave properly. Klein also writes that sexual relations and marriages between Jews and Arabs were not unheard of, even if they were not considered legitimate. https://www.972mag.com/before-zionism-the-shared-life-of-jews-and-palestinians/ It's honestly well worth a read, and I'm not saying that to try and persuade or dissuade you from any particular viewpoint.
I’ll have a look mate Just starting to do the tea then I’m going to chill but I’ll go through it at some point before the night is over.
Anyway haven’t there been loads of Irish playing for Sunderland over the years and all…seems silly hating and still supporting them tbf

Notable Journalists: Basel Adra (also Basil and also Al-Adra or Al-Adraa[1]) is a Palestinian activist and journalist who in 2021 was falsely accused of framing the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) and who in 2022 was beaten while filming the IDF demolishing a structure that he built. No bias here then oh and born on the West Bank.
