This has got to be the best Strictly yet! GT in the intro with watford colours, I missed Savage to get a drink, HARRY JUDD *swoon* dancing to an Elton John song and Russell Grant flying out of a cannon to S Club 7. :)

OFH - H said she was going to look me up in The V Bar at half time, but I did not see her...

BB - Jharal Yow Yeh sounds like a character from Star Wars!

Australia and New Zealand are the best National teams in Rugby League, I prefer League to union but there is more money in union hence why most League players switch code to union

lol - they do specialise in odd names! His family are descendants of the 'kanakas' - South Sea Islanders who were taken as slaves to work in sugar and banana plantations in Queensland in the mid 1800's. A shameful practice that was only outlawed 100 years ago - doesn't appear to have adversely affected the descendants though - mostly wonderful people.

Quite right too! That leaves room for Aussie players to come over on bigger contracts than they can get back home - sets them up for a good few years!

Doesn't seem to matter which of the codes they play though - they always seem to have little trouble in disposing of their English counterparts. ;)

So Pompey with some very expensive players in their side have shown that they are not going to set the division alight, new manager or not. Appleton seems to think that they are just not good enough, which seems quite funny when you think back over the journey men comments about our new signings.

However there is maybe worse news on the horizon for them with those words money laundering cropping up again. The way that the club came out of administration always seemed slightly unusual, being tactful, and now the following has arisen with the new owner.

    http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/lo...er_could_be_quizzed_over_bank_funds_1_3262910

Some of the fans from the club after wanting the new manager out after one game, are beginning to talk in terms of financial meltdown again.

At least we know that you can find our owner in Stanmore without too much trouble.

I do actually Norway. These things are way beyond the control of Joe Public who pays his money and hopes.

Maybe when a former manager and owner of the club have their time in court come January, some of the strange money happenings down there will come to light.

Sorry to hear that Charlie! I hope you can sort it out asap.

    Yes indeedy :):):)

Interesting how in the last 3 games we've said the opposition is poor. i think maybe we could say we're making it difficult for them to play...i'd like to think it's that anyway! lol

Sorry M Frenchie. It was all go today! i just about managed a few tweets. (and my battery wasn't at full strength but that's not really the reason lol)..will put it right at the Bristol City game!

Oh w_y, what are we doing wrong?! Dan and i came to look for you again...i looked everywhere at the bottom of the stairs, just like you said, and couldn't see you anywhere! Maybe we should actually arrange a meeting place rather than me dragging Dan around the rookery searching aimlessly for you! lol

i hope you had a great birthday Ak!

Morning all, Sun getting up now and the promise of a decent enough day. 20C this afternoon and middle of November. I hope we don't pay for it later.

Third Sunday in the month = dinner with friends. Thank goodness we had a win yesterday or my Forest fan would have been crowing rather loudly.

The guns have been going off for about an hour now, not sure what they are aiming at as I hardly ever see anything large enough to eat. Yesterday I met a lady who told me about some scented cord that you can buy that keeps deer and rabbits away from your veggies. I must go and investigate the cost to see if it could be a solution to my problem.

Have a good day whatever you are at. Catch up with the gossip later. <ok>

Morning all - misty start in bandit country, just preparing to take Little Miss W_Y back to Uni....

H - we stand right up by the bar, just at the end on the RHS, there is a service door that goes into the bar, we can usually be found loitering there. Sorry when I mentioned these stairs I meant it was lined up with those stairs, so you just have to fight your way through the crowd towards the bar and I will be by the door!

I openly admit to not being SL's greatest fan, but he has had a couple of good games and he made a couple of good saves yesterday - although to be honest Pompey were not good and our defence is looking a lot more confident. I think that some Prem clubs will come looking as young 'keeper talent is in short supply...
