Is anyone into Inside No 9? I have watched the odd episode over the years but really started watching it recently. I know its down as a black comedy but I'm a few episodes into seasom 6 and got to say I struggle to find the comedy in most the episodes if I'm honest, they brilliant still but not something to laugh at.
It's like 'Tales of the Unexpected' from decades ago, where there's always a twist towards the end, and it's always interesting/good. There are very few comedic parts, but I don't think that it's produced for that
I can't say it makes me laugh but I do find it funny in a pitch black kind of way. Good show very creative.

Very good series . Royal Jelly . The Honey one with Timothy West . The one with Joan Collins . The one where the woman murderer invites the copper around for dinner . The one with the bloke and his flash BMW .
@clockstander I struggle to see the funny in most episodes but I'm still enjoying them. Onto series 8 now so seen the two episodes you mentioned. A Quiet Night In I watched a couple year ago when I first gave them a try.
I maintain it's low key funny almost the whole way through, but it is very dark and deadpan so it depends on your sense of humour. When it suddenly becomes serious it can hit hard though. I think the only one I didn't like was the one set in a hotel where they all talk in rhyming couplets. Got old pretty quickly.
This has been a nice reminder of this programme, that we'd forgotten about, even though it was on 'series link' We've just watched series 6 episode 1 and are currently watching episode 2 . . . . thank you, Youngy & Clocky
This is a really good thread . It prompted me to look for Hammer House Of Horrors TV series . I found it on Amazon prime . First episode I am going to watch is Children Of The Full Moon Diana Dors is great in it .
The Rolf Harris documentary is decent. I seem to remember at the time when the Savile story broke everyone said 'yep he's a creepy bastard's, but with Rolf there was a bit of reticence. Not Rolf, surely.
Finally started Bodies. Even the Netflix Diversity lunacy (everyone's gay, the three foot tall female copper takes down a six foot bloke and physically restrains him) can't stop it from being excellent.
Unless I'm missing anyone two characters are gay, another there is a slight moment no more than 30 seconds that suggests he is but can't be due to what he has to do to exist (don't want to say too much to give the story away for anyone). The gay characters are gay as its a part of the story! If the copper wasn't gay he might have foiled the whole thing before it got going but instead it was used against him and allowed the whole kual movement to start!
