Bruce was obviously watching the same game as Tony Cottee who said Elmo was our best player??? I thought Elmo and Ji when he came on were the 2 worst players on the pitch. He should have bought Nobel on instead of Ji.
I seen more eagerness from Noble in 5 minutes than I have seen from all of our strikers put together all season.

its because steve bruce is a tactical genius and only knows how to do his substitutions one way and that is to wait until either the 70th minute before throwing on a centre forward or to wait until they score and then throw on 2 centre forwards he is totally clueless!!!!
You're forgetting the best pasrt, when you're chasing a goal bring on a striker and give the fans a false sense of hope, only to play the striker on the wing and the winger up front. Pure ****ing genius.
