Apparently Warnock wanted longer than the rest of the season, but that's all hearsay.

In the fifth episode of "tredjemann" we have Martí Cifuentes as our guest. We talk with Martí about his background from working in Spanish football, his methodology, his study and personal time with Johan Cruyff at the Johan Cruyff Institute and his time studying and working in the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and now in Danmark with Aalborg. He did an excellent job at Sandefjord here in Norway with at small team playing great football and competing way above their weight. Martí and his team implemented a positional style of play and we talked more about his philosophy and how he works on the training ground to achieve this style of play and results with it.

Genuinely stunned by this. Master stroke or yet another duff decision by those in charge. Time will tell.

Quite a few of our squad won’t understand some of those questions.

To be honest I don’t either.

He was mentioned as being on the shortlist last time round. The board, in their wisdom, went for Ainsworth instead and Ferdinand resigned.
