These are the only words i can think of to describe Steve Bruce and the performance we have witnessed today!

Bruce is already beat from the word go, stands there on the sidelines hands in pockets shuffling his feet and staring into the distance! How the **** can we expect the players to play with a sense of urgency and passion with this plank stood at the side of the pitch?

Fulham were awful today and were there for the taking just like Villa 3 weeks ago! Thats not being deluded, its a plain fact that were dropping points like a shoddy league 1 outfit and its ****ing pathetic!

Every pass is either sideways or backwards usually resulting in the keeper getting the ball and just hoofing it up to the opposition and thus losing possession!

Every time we get a break and eventually attack the players are so lack lustre that the opposition has forever and a day to get as many men behind the ball as possible which always happens!

WTF is the point in bringing on Noble for 2 minutes? The only reason i can fathom was to waste time coz Bruce was playing for the draw!

Sorry but it is serious bad news if you cant beat a team at home that were as bad as Fulham were today and if we dont get maximum points from Wigan next week then i fully expect his resignation or hand the useless C U N T his P45!

Least the mags got brought back down to earth and long may it continue FTM

I know that I agree with every word...Bruce must resign in the morning,or be sacked.Without a change of manager,we are doomed.Don't like saying that, but we are a poor side under Bruce.

Total relegation form with no guile or passion and that is totally down to Bruce!

The buck stops with him and it has stopped!

Probably the 'weakest' performance all season, if Sesegnon leaves we are finished. We need to go out in Jan and sign 2 top quality strikers , a 6'5" defender and a left footed left winger Ryan giggs type player. There should be at least 6 more ball boys also.

I agree with most off this apart from.
I actually do expect the players to play with passion and sense of urgency regardless of who the manager is, that's what they get paid to do.

im sure every team in the premiership would love to sign those type of players in january but do you honestly think we will. bruce has had 3 years to sign a left winger and he hasn't, he has had since january to buy a replacement for bent but hasn't and as far as i know we are the only club who sell their best strikers in january as every other team know that you dont sell your best players mid season!

He was either settling for a point or he managed to pluck up enough courage to try and win the game.

I think he plucked up the courage to go for a win because if he was content with the draw he would have brought Vaughan and Gardner on and packed the midfield.

I think he managed to pluck up the courage to go for the win considering he brought strikers on. If this is the case which I think it is, this gives us a very worrying insight into the real mental status of Bruce. What he has basically done today is reveal that he IS scared of taking a game to a team with one of the worst away records in the league.

He is saying that he has so little faith in the strikers that he has assembled in this squad that he would rather play 4-5-1 and try to play it safe.... Unlucky that Wickham got injured? Where is the depth in the squad?

    Noble must start against Wigan...

We were already 'on earth' you helmet. We were never going to be unbeaten all season, were we? So getting beat by the current best team in the league in their current form isn't a bad thing. We put up a fight and basically caused our own defeat (could have had a draw if we didn't give away two penalties).

I don't mind you whinging about your own team but then you have to involve us. It's a bit sad.

Are you looking forward to your trip to the other half of Manchester next week? Two defeats off the trot might set off a bit of doubt with the squad members. Not be long before your down to 8th although it would take a monumental collapse in the same shape as the year you give away a 12 point lead under Kev to fall much lower than that. You have done it before under Kev so you never know.
