Off to Chepstow tomorrow, so if someone in form can go through the card, that would be grand.

As that master of the English language, Sam Goldwyn, once famously said, "include me out"

(Have a great day at Chepstow, Nass, and every success with your wagers!)

What do you think of Fergal's in the 3.15, few in there with form tying into the Old Roan yesterday.

Chepstow are lucky that their card is in the first part of the week rather than the second - cor blimey looking very bleak on Thursday and if all that rain does materialise several meets from Thursday onwards, this week, look in serious doubt.

I won't be backing at the meet but perhaps the most interesting runner is Mammies Boy (3.45). The 5YO Getaway gelding is stepped up 3.5 furlongs for his handicap bow and you would have to conclude that if this step up in trip is beneficial then a mark of just 101 looks very, very exploitable.

Must say that the concluding contest (the bumper) looks exceptional and certainly one to watch with the old notebook.

@NassauBoard If you know something and you are so kind, could you tell me what is thought about Crambo on the stable?
    Thanks.

Oh cool, I wasn't sure if you were talking future races, or generally.

They absolutely love him, because he is a horse who doesn't show a great deal at home (I have a video of him from last season, at Lambourn I think, where our horse is cantering very well upsides him).

However he is a real trier and that is why he is able to grind out races, and why they were very confident yesterday.

The plan seems to be Haydock, Warwick (Pertemps Qualifier - 5th place etc) and then Pertemps. However I wonder if the handicapper might react a bit too much and make him run in graded races.

He will stay 3 miles, and I look forward to seeing how far he can progress.

    Thank you very much.

The truth is that the question has come because I have seen that Lads and Coral have put the horse in the Stayers market (33/1) after yesterday's race. Maybe they are a bit optimistic but with the doubts that there are in that race and as most of those ahead in the market are not going to run there....
