How this chump has a job I don't know. He has said the class of 92 (him) would fail at this utd But of course it's not ten haag's fault. What an absolute moron. Lfc in 2015 were a basket case, the side was a shambles. Klopp did the business. Of course right decisions need to be made but you start from zero and work from there. Ten haag has made them worse through his decisions
Future captain right there. Just hope he isn’t tempted away to a Barca or Madrid in 2/3 years time as he’s going to be an ability superstar driving force of this team.
Still being held. A reward of $206m is being offered for any information leading to the rescue of Diaz's father.
Saha was on the radio today and said it will take 20 years for Utd to get back to the top, but they should stick with TH!!
they are morons. a club with the resources of utd wouldnt take that long if they start making the right decisions. just start making the right calls. look at the last 12months. fernandes captain???? onana as the dodgiest possible keeper due to ten haag knowing him? Mount after saying no way too expensive? yet there he is in a utd shirt. the wrong player who plays the wrong position. holjund as the striker option for a vast fee when he's goalscoring is spotty and injuries well known. martinez as the cb when he's just too short for the prem. casemiro for an absolute fortune when he was on his last legs. sancho falling out. Anthony as a massive signing, again on his manager knowing him. bad call after bad call after bad call.
There's no way it should take 20 years. They've got a massive fan base, large stadium and major corporate revenues. Maybe they could have spent more without the Glazers, maybe they can't match City's finances, but there's certainly money there, more than most of the other top teams. The issue isn't so much the high fees for players themselves, but how much has been wasted. There must surely be questions around their due diligence and screening of the mentality of the players.
They'd have been better off with Martinez yesterday. Haaland would have tripped over him all the time.
I doubt that 10 years ago many thought it would take them this long to get back into serious contention. They're a massive club with all the resources they need, but it just shows that a bit of serendipity is always required for things to work as you'd expect them to. Something is wrong there, and we all have our favourite hypotheses about it. One problem has been their habit of buying the flavour of the month players rather than the right ones.
With the right manager, it could be done within two years. Klopp did it with Liverpool from a worse starting position and less money
