No doubt Haaland is an immense goal-scorer, but I can't help wondering that if someone actually tried marking him occasionally it might slow him down a little bit.

It was a shocker, but it happens quite a lot. He's big and he's strong, and he finds space well, but surely you can try something with him - jump at him, get under his feet, anything. He's a mobile battering-ram, but coaches have had long enough to study him by now so he shouldn't be taking anyone by surprise, but it seems no-one has any real plan to try and deal with him.
My anger was with the fact he was literrally all alone, not one player managed to spot a monster of a boy standing there.
Was the same for fodens goal. Evans standing there watching as Haaland just jogs in behind him to get onto the rebound.

haaland is like Harry kane, good at finding some space the problem is that if you can't cut the supply off a bit and force him to drop a bit deeper then you will have him in the box doing what henis actually decent at. utd midfield were non existent so they are always going to see a lot of ball in dangerous areas from the 4 attackers behind haaland
