Brilliant mate. My older 2 play basketball. My son started out if the blue when he was 9. Still playing now at 14. He played for one of the Manchester teams last year but quit as it was too stressful for him. Just plays for his local team now. My daughter 11 started playing this year for the same club. Love watching them both play. I still don't know the rules yet. Anyway, it's a great sport for them to get into. Hope they enjoy it as much as mine do.

Thats amazing mate. My lads are obsessed no idea why lol.
Their coach pulled me up a few weeks ago and told me they are close to playing national level . I have parents stop me to tell me how good they are and its all a foreign language to me as far as sport is concerned

That's the level my son was at for Manchester Swarm U14s. He had no confidence in himself though so put himself under pressure. At that age national is still quite local games but standard is generally really good. Hope they stick with it mate. Like I say I love watching their games.

That must be great to hear but what I'm getting from you is you are like me and have no idea about basketball. Because of that do you struggle to see how good they are compared to if it was football which obviously you have always watched?

Yeah mate i sit and watch oblivious to rules etc but my lad who has the trophy in his hand on that pic absolutely tortures every kid his own age with his speed and his passion when things go wrong he has a meltdown. He has a big future regardless in what he does because his mental strength is there and as a dad ill be there all the way with them both

Sounds like it's still obvious your lads are good even of you don't get the rules. I'm sure you will be an expert this time next year.

I've said to you before Tees no one on here can be in any doubt of your passion for your boys it come across in every post you ever make about them.
