I don’t get the outcry. Like the managers sacked before him, he hadn’t hit the goals set by SL and has paid the price. Why should he be treated differently.
I agree. I’m not one of those who have been creaming their pants over Pearson, but he hadn’t done anything to deserve a sacking. I think this might turn out to be a big mistake. I’ll hold back from seriously kicking off over it until I see who the replacement is (and how he is selected) but if it’s Barton I’m off.
By your logic your god LJ should have been sacked every season he was here. What where Pearsons goals? Cutting the wage bill in half and promotion? what?
I was at the game yesterday and I thought your boys played well. It sounds like NP was under a lot of pressure and your owners don’t know much about football. I hope you can find a suitable replacement and look forward to the game in March.
Time for the Lansdowns to walk-clowns running the show. Hope Nigel Pearson hangs the Lansdowns out to dry. Not all proud to be a Bristol City FC today absolutely shocking decision. Hanged out to dry. Another Yes man I would imagine.
I still think that spat Nige had with junior over him sticking his nose in was the start of his downfall, " Daddy, daddy I don't like that big man, he frightens me, tell him to go", he has done nothing for the club, he never informs, in fact he is never here, always found floating around the West Indies. Rich daddy, spoilt brat, expensive toy, for christ sake get rid of him as well.
really thought he would see christmas/new year, but you could see it coming, but hey ho, ****e happens and given are recent history no big surprise, and now a whole debate about a new manager, dont ask me i really dont have a scoobie,
Someone on here touted Mark Robins was in the frame even before Nigel got shafted. It would be interesting to hold a no-holds barred town forum with respected football pundits giving their honest opinion of Bristol City as a football club compared to others that have actually achieved something.
Well the Lansdowns have done the unthinkable sacked the best manager to walk through the doors at Ashton Gate Stadium-since Alan Dicks. They have wasted millions and millions on bad managers and bad signings over the years that is down to them. They say they want promotion-well we all want that but that don’t happen selling your best assets season after season and not reinvesting into the team. Your are always going to struggle Did your honestly expect us to beat the likes of Leicester City Football Club and Leeds Utd of course not. Both will waltz back into the premiership. Then you expect Nige to win games with major injuries on a huge scale.sorry you are delusional if you expect promotion with the squad he has at his disposal and the issues he has to deal with at present.
Wiz, grow up. NP failed on his own, he didn’t progress the team, or our league position, and paid the price.
Ok little man, spout your biased crap we are all used to it, perhaps the next Lansdown miracle will get your approval

I’ve only just heard about the news and have to admit I’m in complete shock.. my first thoughts are what the feck is going on at our club? I really don’t understand.. And think it’s complete madness.. I really don’t understand this decision..
You, and several others on here are THE ONLY ones who have spouted biased crap on here. The reality is, your post LJ miracle turned out to be a mirage.
