Boys v men, City's passing is slick and accurate, ours is random and pedestrian. **** tactics, **** substitutions - hope the manager has a mirror in his office.....

Maybe we should just get rid of him now. I’m not seeing any signs of a system developing. ETH has no idea how to use this team. Not sure how we have gone from last season to this. It is sad to witness.

The manager bought (I assume) Mount, yet plays Eriksen.

He brought Amrabat in yet only ever gives him 45 minutes, unless at left back. Plays McTominay instead, who hides when against superior opposition. As in, 99% of the time.

He ostracises Maguire, until he realises he's not as bad as social media would have you believe, so drops Varane instead and brings in Evans.

He buys Antony and leaves him sitting on the bench while Rashford walks about.

He plays Lindelof at left back while Reguillon sits on the bench.

And he makes an utter wasting **** like Fernandes the captain, meaning he can't be dropped.

    Yeah, he needs a mirror.

Rashford and Bruno are a ****ing disgrace, the pair need to be dropped. To take Hojlund off and leave Rashford was the most stupid thing I've seen all season, the lad needs service from the likes of Antony and Garnacho on the wings (Antony needs Wan Bissaka behind him) and we also need a provider through the middle, which ought to be Bruno except when ETH ****s it all up and plays him out on the right....................... I'm sorry to say it, but I think ETH has lost the plot and the dressing room.

Oh yeah, and to add to this.

What the **** does he say at half time? Again!!

How many times have we been utterly, utterly **** after a half promising first half.

Let's get Carlo Ancelotti, we haven't tried him yet. As far as I'm concerned ETH can **** off back to Ajax and enjoy making their mess worse.

It started off so promising as well ................

I genuinely don't support ten Hag bring sacked, but he needs to ****ing sort himself out.

And he needs to be supported by whatever ****ing 'board' he's supposed to be working under.

If we lose in the Caribou cup to Newcastle I think ETH will come under the microscope, we're turning into Villa, a mid-table team fighting for the odd FA Cup scraps..

By succumbing to what social and actual media narrate, we'd be just like every other **** knuckle stat watching prick who's never been to a game, papping on about stuff they don’t understand.

I'm not, ever, becoming a Mark Goldbridge. I can make my own mind up by watching what I see with my own eyes.

Ten Hag isn't the problem here. He's certainly currently part of it, don't get me wrong, but for **** sake, the people above him and the ones who employed him and don't support him are a ****ing shambles.

It's too easy to trip out cliches that the club is toxic and that, it's like reading from a script.
He should be supported, and the players who are letting him down called out instead.

Who else is supposed to come in and solve it? I don’t think Ancelotti is actually available for instance.

We should have thrown everything at Spurs, worn them down and bought Kane, even if we bought nobody else in the last window. FFS, the bloke is scoring goals from home for BM, so it wasn't a question of him fitting in or our style of play not suiting him...... people like him drag teams along behind him.

Mount has had enough game time to make a case for himself, and he hasn't, he simply isn't good enough, every time he comes on he is anonymous and, nine times out of ten, clashes in space with Bruno. He has proved to be a huge waste of last summer's transfer budget, and is probably the reason we were forced to go for Hojlund instead of Kane.

But Chief, how much more support does a manager need? Ten Haag is responsible for the performances and he has failed in that department even with so many players at his disposal. To keep talking about owners is pointless and simply deflecting from ETH’s deficiencies. We need to firmly focus on football matters on the pitch, otherwise we’d end up blaming performances on Sunak.

A manager has to be an agent of change. We can’t keep suggesting that the sky needs to be aligned above him for the team to perform.

He has made far too many dubious decisions and my take on it is that he is a very stubborn manager who is not allowing himself to dynamically learn from his own mistakes by holding himself accountable. The team right now is in that image. His image!

I don’t think that Kane would have done much for us. Sure, he’d get goals, but the midfield would still be generally fked along with the defence. And every time we talk about Kane, we must remember what’s really happening at Spurs. You don’t need a Kane to become a well drilled team which we are not.

Simply suggesting that another player is what we need is completely bogus when we know fk all to do with the ones that were have.

This has been an ongoing theme for some time now, players with good ability but no guts/fight/pride. We have a captain with no idea of leadership and a propensity to sulk and strop.
Go back to Fergie teams (yes i know iot's all history) and we had a captain, Roy Kean but he really wasn't needed because we had a team (maybe even a squad) of captains. When things were going wrong or someone wasn't pulling their weight you could see various players across the pitch handing out bollackings and pushing each other to perform, now the heads go down and start shaking or many arms are waved.
    Gutless prideless bunch of fairies.

The thing I find curious about ten Hag is that he seems to almost go with media narrative.

Maguire is **** - so he drops him and shuns him until he realises that, actually, he should be in the team alongside Martinez.

Mount is **** and a waste of money - so instead of backing his signing, doesn't give him a game or defined role.
You bought him Erik, ****ing play him.

McTominay more or less ostracised until he scores a couple of goals, and now he's seemingly nailed on starter.

He's still the very same limited player he always was, so quite obviously nothing more than a substitute. Albeit useful in the right circumstances.

What ten Hag should be doing is bringing in his own men, and sticking with them. Sign a player, back yourself by playing him.

Mount, Antony, Casemiro, Hojlund, Onana, Amrabat and Martinez, when he's fit, should be the spine of his team. Eriksen even.

Stand or fail by your own signings.

I think this is where the imperative to succeed at the club begins to take its toll. Managers want to bring players together and develop a style of play, but the business orientated nature of the present day PL doesn't allow time - success must be immediate. When you can only go to the market and buy second rate players, this is what happens.

TBF with Amrabat and Casimero in midfield and Martinez, Shaw and Bisakka back in defence the team will be vastly improved and give the attack a base to work from
I have sympathy with ETH around the players missing but still have doubts about his ability to create an identity that suits the team/players in which the motivation of many seems totally lacking.
