Almost as good as the team goal we scored against Palace the other night. Almost.

Haaland has now scored 11 league goals, the same number as Man Utd.

Brought in a poor manager and lost a number of their better players.
They did actually spend decent money replacing them, but it hasn't worked out.
I'm sure they'll pick up when they replace Steijn, but they've had a shocking start.

I’ve just had a look at their starting line up in the defeat today at PSV, and Bergwijn is the only player I’ve heard of!

Not watching it, but replacing Amrabat with Mount probably didn't help.
Eriksen and Evans haven't got the legs to play the roles they're in any more, either.

Yeah, they lost Grillitsch, Timber, Tadic, Bassey, Alvarez, Kudus and Klaasen.
Their goalkeeper's also injured, so they've got an inexperienced backup in goal.
Lots of youngsters and it's finally costing them.

He was crap to be fair and booked.

Though everyone’s looking crap under ten Hag. Utd are massively reminding me of us under Conte, you can tell no one on that pitch is really playing for the manager anymore. Unsurprisingly too, bloke doesn’t seem to have a clue.

Even the subs looked as though they didn't want to come on.

Their current form is slumping to bottom 6,
butin "season compass" terms they actually
might be doing ok for this point in the season.

Man Utd are in 8th with -5 goal difference.
Have they played well once this season?

The current top 5 are averaging 2+ pts per game
with 10 games gone. Will be interesting to see if
that is the case come the halfway point.

Whilst I understand that no should take losing well, is Bruno Fernandes the worst loser currently playing, it a good job he can't time a tackle because some of his hacks late in the game were terrible. Its a shame that the one Stones saw coming didn't injure him a bit more.

By a measure I use, for a GD of -5 they should be on 13 pts.

Man City didn't get any penalties at Old Trafford when he was there, either.

Yep. We didn't get a penalty against them in the Premier League until the 6-1 in '20.
We hadn't had one at Old Trafford since 1955, IIRC.

Only 10 games into the season, and there’s already a 5 point gap between 5th and 6th.

my thoughts over the summer was that our lack of European football could give us a huge advantage, so it’ll be interesting to see how it pans out with the likes of Newcastle, United and Brighton chasing the current pack. Obviously there’s a long way to go, but those teams are not gonna want to see the top 5 pulling away over the next set of 10 games.

At the other end of the table, it’s really not looking good for the bottom 3 is it? I don’t see where their points will come from based on their starts to the season, and what we’ve seen so far. Who will twist first and sack the manager?
