A legend. A gentleman. A bloody great striker. Won’t be one like him ever again. RIP Sir Bobby Charlton
RIP Sir Bobby Charlton, possibly England's greatest ever player. A missile of a shot and a tremendous passer, superb leader on the pitch and off. Incredible ambassador and a true gent, a dying breed sadly. We wont see his like again !
Such a sad fact that ! I'd like to see a huge statue of the entire 66 World Cup squad built outside Wembley . They were real legends !
RIP Sir Bobby. "Greatest" and "legend" are very overused, but he truly was a great player, arguably England's best ever and an absolute gentleman.
Remember seeing him at the Oval, some time in the late 70's, along with Gavaskar. One of my dad's favourites and a master of his craft. RIP Bishan

Nottingham Panthers forward Adam Johnson has died after suffering a serious cut to his neck from a skate during Saturday's Challenge Cup match. The game against the Sheffield Steelers was stopped in the 35th minute as the 29-year-old American received emergency treatment from paramedics on the ice. The injury was so horrific it forced the game to be abandoned and left traumatised fans in tears. His mother Kari took to social media to share her heartbreak this morning - telling friends: 'I lost half of my heart today.' The Panthers said on Sunday they were "devastated" Johnson had died following a "freak accident". "The club will dearly miss him and will never ever forget him," they added. Awful, truly awful. RIP
