Not like an English player too be so highly rated at such an early stage is it …… let’s see what happens init
Jude is more worth the praise than any other young English player I have ever seen. I am not one to over hype young english players, since I am not an england fan and couldn't give nine ****s what happens to the Three lions, but this player is something else. He is getting Messi/Ronaldo numbers over in La Liga so far.
So far so good. Pretty easy pickings in Spanish League though the young man looks good. Let's have another look in 2 years. Too many kids fizzle out in their mid 20s, like Mason Mount.
With all due respect to Mason, a good loan spell at Derby and a couple of fair seasons at Chelsea amongst an incredibly expensive squad, doesn't really come close to what Jude Bellingham has done at Dortmund and now at Real Madrid ... more Ross Barklay than Paul Gascoigne...
Did you just compare Bellingham to Mount Mount has always been overrated the jumped up little skate ****.
For me, Bellingham is the best young English midfield talent since Paul Gascoigne- yes he needs to maintain consistency at the level he has now reached but the talent and potential is undeniable... I'd say he exhibits the better traits of Gerrard, Lampard and Rooney... Gerrard's engine and passing, Lampards awareness and goal threat and Rooney's ability to beat a man and get a shot off ... He already looks a more complete footballer than each (individually) and I think he will go on to become an England captain ... ... that ought to do it ... ... cheque to the usual address please Libby
Yeah remember him running the show for Dortmund, Real Madrid and England Mason Mount peaked when he hit the 'bang average' stage. It was all downhill after that.
we have been here before init it’s like the magic roundabout for us watching from a distance……this golden generation has been going on for thirty years now maybe more zero trophies and onto the next best thing you can cling to it’s an English ting and part of the reason us outsiders enjoy watching you fail each and every time you get above your station
Yeah I was terribly disappointed that Mount never kicked on after his first season with us under Lampard. Figured he could be Lampard 2.0 but I watched as Foden, Bellingham and Rice all kicked on and became great players, while he stagnated at "meh". One of the reasons why I wasnt so sad about him leaving.
Someone said my comment on no injury…. marco Van hasten, just one injury and the best player of a generation….boom.
