His grandma has just passed away hasn’t she? Think we can allow him a few weeks to get his head right. He attended the funeral on Wednesday and flew back to make the bench for Birmingham, attitude sounds alright to me.

Let’s not write him off yet. Already scored four(?) goals. The terms of the contract will have taken the risk into account. Judge him at the end of his contract

He was going to book a Preston player in the first half but we took a quick free-kick. He brought his whistle to his lips twice but didn’t blow it to bring the free-kick back and give a yellow.

I just think they’re better impact players. Connolly has 3/5 off the bench, Tufan good finisher but rest of his play leaves a lot to be desired. Outside of Wendies been disappointing imo

That’s a bit naughty HT2. Either tell us or don’t. Someone else posting that he was at his grandparents funeral this week is much more significant

The weirdest thing was in the first half, where their player, Browne I think, felt he’d been fouled, the Ref didn’t give it, so Browne stood there with the ball at his feet and gestured with his arms until the Ref gave it. Ref had played advantage as they still had the ball but Browne wasn’t happy with that and bullied him into giving the free kick.

Naive and wrong to sign someone on the cheap who's already scored 4 goals for us including match winners against Blackburn and an equaliser against Coventry?

He was at his grandparents' funeral ffs, the innuendo and suggestions further up the page are really poor taste, and to use it to have a go at LR.. the mind boggles.

So if you build a stadium and put in 25,000 0r 30,000 seats it's not a fixed amount ?
Do they take them out and put them back at regular intervals ??

I posted what I'd heard and comfortable sharing. On reflection I maybe shouldn't. Hopefully I'm completely wrong and he's back banging them away soon.

One against Bristol Rovers. Last day of the back to back promotion season was also as good.

55 seconds in after Priceys header here :

Delaney got **** from our fans as well, but when he scored it was usually worth the wait...

Great to win at home , I actually thought we played better against Southampton

I have to give some credit to Twine who I've criticised but he really doesn't hide
and he worked his socks off today

Philogene is a class above most players in this league , a pleasure to be able to see him play for us

    Yeah, you shouldn’t :emoticon-0127-lipss
If you are in the know, it must be difficult what to share and not. It’s a poor decision going half cock especially when everything seems Rosie tonight.

He's on a year contract. Clearly that's because there was a gamble involved.

It it goes tits up then there's limited liability.

Does highlight the importance of addressing that position in January - not that I think we wouldn't anyway, given Delap is only on loan - and Connolly is only a short term deal.

I am not claiming to be ITK. I heard the following 3rd hand before KO today - so some, none or all of it may or may not be true:

Allegedly AC went off on an absolute rant after the defeat to Southampton, bad mouthing the system, the tactics, LR, etc. allegedly it got so heated that LR had to be ushered out of the dressing room before he decked him. What happens in the dressing room hopefully stays in the dressing room and if any of the above is true, then hopefully it will not cloud LR's judgement when it comes to future team selection (Delap is only one card or one bad tackle from being unavailable) nor AC's performances when he gets his chance as I'm sure he will as the season progresses.

I am not writing AC off and think he has a lot to offer this season. Was in two minds whether to post this after a good win today, but others may be referring to the same alleged incident.

If you listen to swanny pinning ternent against a wall with his great dane for subbing him off in the first half then I doubt it's anything that hasn't happened up and down the country at every club multiple times.

Ternent re-signed Swanny at least twice after that.

Let's see if he can get himself off the naughty step.
