Wasn't at the game as I'm away on hols....great to see us get home win,Hope it continues....well done lads
It’s not a fixed number, it varies depending on the game. Some seats are out of use if we’re the Sky game, sometimes away fans get more seats than tickets if they’re known for all standing (for safety reasons) etc. For those asking earlier, Preston got just over 2,200 tickets.
Great result today. Fine three points against a team doing well. Back in a playoff position. But great kudos to our owner who has re vitalised our support, fantastic to see a full stadium again. Going crack into my red wine drinking now and enjoy every drop. Up the Tigers. Feel like good things happening.
If the ref, on 20 mins, had said to them 'look lads you've been wasting time and pissing about from minute one and aren't even trying to score a goal, I'm going to stop the game and give the points to Hull' I bet you they'd have accepted that and got back on the bus...They were like something from the bad old days.
The ref was giving Seri a talking to and about to book him, Preston took a quick free kick and he allowed it to happen. Seri was then completely out the game. He then finished booking Seri once it went out for a corner. I’m sure it was completely against the rules of the game.
Sure at one point he was going to book one of theirs. We took the free kick quickly and he seemed to completely forget about it. Thought he was going to go back and book him after the passage of play
I can’t see that anyone else has mentioned it but surely I can’t be the only one who saw Philogene nearly fall over halfway through the mazy run that led to the goal. Still a fabulous bit of play though.
I would say that was probably the best solo goal scored at the KC I have seen and I have missed around 5/6 games in all ,the years .
Enjoyable game, nice to see City getting more confident passing the ball about. Hopefully Jaden will learn when to stop playing football when in the box and when to shoot or pass, but he’s great to watch and it will come. Fantastic goal. The ref was absolutely shocking, and his failure to stamp his authority led PNE to just get more outrageous with their ****wittery. Off the top of my head he missed several fouls, a deliberate handball, diving and a couple instances of clear bookable dissent from PNE. ( Obviously City were all gentlemen . ) As well as letting the game go on for an additional unnecessary minute during which I was convinced Robbie Brady would score in that corner. The most laughable moment was when PNE took a free kick too quickly and he ran down the pitch waving his card at Seri (?) instead of stopping the game. Or maybe when he stopped the game for the PNE player who got hit on the head by the ball and he was so fine the physios didn’t even start concussion protocol. nice to see Will Keane is still a sick note.
I'd say Delaney vs Rochdale is still the king. He had absolutely no right to do that. At least you can expect Philogene to possibly do it.
I've heard a couple of bits on Connolly recently which might explain why we aren't seeing him as much ATM.
We need to add strikers (plural) in January. We basically have no one next year as I doubt we get Delap back and Connolly seems to be falling out of favour
