He doesn’t have to be someone totally defensive - look at Hamer he got forward plenty for Coventry. Just someone who has the positional whereabouts and defensive ability to protect the back 4. I think that player would help Neil play his best football in his preferred role as more of a Mezzala.

Completely forgot about Pembele, I think matete will offer something different too when he’s back, evans too all will be needed, long old season! I don’t get too down when we lose anymore I know these lads don’t let their heads drop and it’ll turn back around at some point sooner rather than later, nice to just enjoy the ride

I do think cdm will be a priority signing in January. Its so important to have anothed defensive option in there, suppose will depend how the CMs we have develop btweem now n then

Pleased to see rigg get some good minutes last couple of games

Very Good. Clarke motm by a mile, he's a game changer. Tremendous today. We look twice the team when Neil plays too. Bids for both likely to become irresistible. How do you replace them man! Paying Chris Rigg silly money for his age might have to be the start.

This sums it up for me as well mate.

We won't win every game amd these young lads have off days, but it's a pleasure to watch these lads playing good skillfull attacking football

I’ve become that disillusioned with football at the top that this is all I want from my club, we’re well run, fans are engaged and we’re playing excellent stuff that’s good enough for me

And me mate, we lost 3 games and the manager, recruitment and everything was being hammered.

The lads from the branch who went Tuesday said we played really well and where unlucky, I thought the same watching on TV, yet social media was alive with abuse.

As you say let's just enjoy the ride with a talented squad that play for the shirt

Will have to be the playoffs imo, Leicester Soton Leeds looking good, Ipswich also. That leaves places 5 and 6 to aim for.

I’ve said it a year or 2 back about Patterson and I’ll say it about Dan Neil, he will play for England.
Great 3 points, solid performance and a good full debut for our Centre Forward

Disagree that we were awful i thought we were decent and with better finishing could have easily had 5 or 6 today.

Thought their goal was fine I know everyone around me was in uproar but don't feel their lad actually done anything wrong it was more that we just stopped.

Agree Bellingham needs resting seems to want far too much time on the ball and doesn't have a plan in his head of what he's going to do when he receives it. If Dan Neil had been caught as many times as he was today he would have been slaughtered.

All in all a decent day and wolves have just equalised so may get better.

There are massive weaknesses and we can be beaten. The manager has also made questioning decisions.

    Both can be called out.

That said, we still play football and have youth whi are willing to play expansively. That's appreciated but it's still frustrating and it's showed by some and I on here at times. That's ok.

Let's not normalize critically based opinion eh.

Totally agree... but that's for now. 2 or 3 seasons mid table in the prem or 3 or 4 more trying to get there and I suspect the mood will change. Human nature. You can't stand still. That said, we don't appear to be standing still at all. Personally, im happy..but the big tests are still to come. When we sell a Clarke or a Neil, what do we replace them with. Gonna be interesting at least.

he defo interfered by running at/with the ball. Totally distracting as he then shelters their man from Ekwah

anyway, thought we were lacking cutting edge again today. Too much pondering on the ball/not moving acting quick enough, bar for the 2nd goal.
Nice to get the win with junior watching/enjoying it too
