It was for my brothers bet. £5 win on S/land 3-1 and Man C 3-1. Got £75 going on. £825 back if it goes in.

    17 shots, 8 on target, 3 goals ...

... give me scrappy every week.

The game was spoiled more by Norwich and the officials than Sunderland imo.

Over the moon with the win and the lads showing that fighting spirit.

The linesman running the line at East stand was woeful.

Chance of forward and still next to no service for him. Thought Ruysn was great at keeping busy and trying to force things.

Not impressed with Rigg's reaction to Hemir blazing over the bar.

Rigg would have put that shot away though i could have scored that, that is worrying Rigg needs to start.

two players there for sure, for all burstow has looked busy and worked hard in games i never had the feeling he would score if a decent chance came his way but for some reason hemir and rusyn look more likely, hemir just wanted one of those chances he had to go in and we would see a more confident player...i can remember watching SNQ and SK in their early days and remember saying 'if that philips lad learns to read quinns knock ons he could get himself a few goals' , even though neither had looked good up till then you could see there was something that could work, it also helped that winterwasp and magic were putting nice balls into the box as well.

I’m a big advocate of stats in football and dominating games is only a positive. Of course we have our negatives but would you rather us have a team that’s scraping wins whilst playing ****e knowing deep down it’s got no longevity? Ie Preston.

You dominate the ball and create chances then the goals will come. Unfortunately at the minute we need too many chances before we score and look like conceding a bit too easily for my liking. It’s not catastrophic by any means but I worry TM has his favourites and it won’t change because we’ve put ourselves in a position where we have 3 very good young lads in the midfield but none of them can play the DM role naturally and it doesn’t look like he’s going to mould Jobe to that role.

If I had my own way I’d be harsh and give one of the midfield the bullet to sign a proper DM who’ll protect the back 4. We’re crying out for one. It’s not just the defence being pulled all over they’re constantly exposed by the way we play and when you have O’nien wandering into midfield whilst Ekwah is on the edge of our opponents box it leaves us wide open. I’d have a natural CB in there alongside Ballard and stick with one of our strikers week in week out.

He couldn't as it was behind Hemir.

Hemir didn't twist like that when Clarke should of squared rather than winning the penalty.

I thought we were decent enough today. We have played better but it wasnt terrible in my opinion. For all Norwich are in bad form they still have good individual players who can play 1v1.

Rusyn looks a good player, intelligent and aware. Roberts did better and laid it off well for Hume. Our second goal was class. Jack Clarkes run was unreal, when he runs like that defenders cant put a foot in, or what happens later happens. Neil's finish was lovely as well. Clarke was best player on the park today.

Rigg is not far away from earning a start for me. So talented. Ba is a really good player and when you can bring Pritchard on with 30 mins to go you are in a luxury position.

Happy to move on and hopefully get on another run.

The danger is with a more defensive midfielder instead of one of Neil, Ekwah or Jobe you lose the ability to control possession and territory. I wouldnt go down that route personally, but it is just an opinion. Defensively I think we always look solid with Cirkin in, and less so without him. It is about balance with his left foot and his 1v1 domination. I have been really impresses with Huggins but Cirkin is a level above at left back. Maybe Huggins will be an option in midfiels if Tony wants to shore it up a bit.

Could only see a ****house Norwich win today but we battered them from start to finish. Only a bit of naivety cost us a clean sheet

We have some squad. Havent seen Mayenda yet either. Just wait till we set eyes on Pembele. Such an exciting time to watch the lads. There will be hiccups along the way, but it is fun again at last.

Thought Rusyn did really well, made some lovely runs that freed up space for others.

Also Hemir put himself about when he came on and had a couple of lovely passes.

    A good all round performance
