Defo mate. We aren’t far from it clicking either. I stand by what I said during the week, we play as good as anyone in this league when we’re at it. Leicester included. The difference being they’ve scraped wins when they’ve played poorly whilst we’ve generally played pretty well most weeks but haven’t taken our chances then gifted our opponents a goal. Cut out the soft goals and get our striker included a bit more and we’ll not only be a force but we’ll start turning those tighter games into 1-0 wins.
Give hemir a run and he’ll get goals barely had any minutes but the lad gets into good positions just needs one to go in off his arse
Nowt flash but a workman like performance to get the 3 points. A good first start for Rusyn, Clarke and Dan Neil played well and the defense get them at arms length apart from the first goal
Most important thing was to get back to winning ways. Still not at our best but definitely better patterns in the last two games. Injured lads coming back too. Fair play to the lads like would have been tough going a goal down but they responded well, let’s get a run going now
Needed that. Rusyn looks good, still not passing to the striker though. Norwich are awful and I think they will sack their manager tonight.
As did Ekwah some silky passes and forward ones at that, Ba did well in his cameo role some real possitives to-day
It’s not dreadful like but his confidence is low and strikers need confidence. Only very very good strikers can come off the bench for 20 minutes cameos here and there then take every chance they get. A fair amount of strikers get chance after chance before they take one. They have to persist with 1 striker playing week in week out whether he has poor games or not. He needs to build a relationship with the players around him. Harry Kane was sitting on the bench at Leicester 10 years ago behind both David Nugent and Chris Wood in the pecking order. A year later he scored 21 goals in his first proper PL season at Spurs. Without giving someone a chance how are you meant to know how good they are?
Absolutely buzzing Brilliant 1st game for my lad Ekwah with some lovely passes, great goals . **** linesman and ref
Fair enough. It was a tongue in cheek comment, but to be fair I'd still back Jack Clarke to beat a defender and score from where he was than him passing it to Hemir He'll get chance and he'll hopefully come good.
100% this The players will hopefully continue to improve at closing at games. They def seem to have improved from last season but agree in game decisions at ley points we dont always get right. This allows team to score 1st or pull it back against us. All normal for a young team tho When we are on it i dont fear any team in the this league

leicester was a good game, this was a bad one sorry, i am not going to paper over any cracks here because we won and also not going to slag players/manager off. good win to get, really scrappy game spoilt mainly by norwich (never liked games against them) wtf is the point of time wasting so early man, play the feckin game but got what you deserved seems like they fouled every time we had an attack going, league one stuff at best. jobe needs the break, damn good player and at times early season some of his movement was beyond belief for his age but the past couple of games he appears to be struggling to keep up, needs a refresh...ekwah almost back to his best first half but struggled the more the game went on, clarke got instantly doubled up on so the lads started to use our right and that moved their defence out of the way and he had more luck, roberts needs to be moving the ball quicker, with his skills he will get his goals again. would really like to see seelt/triantis getting more game time as we are going to need them, love onien but he is not a central defender, a couple of times he was at the wrong end of the pitch and for their goal he was running from the half way line and we have given away some sloppy goals recently. when we have dack and pritchard both fit together i would like to see pritchard start as he brings lads into the game and helps attacks, dack is more of a 'worky ticket' type player, great for a tiring defence and he likes to get into the box...rather than a 'which one shall we play' i feel they could share the role each game. as with other strikers, rusyn did not get much service but he made plenty of runs, put himself about and used his agression...basically he was more noticable than the others and i would like to see him get some starts now. dan neil gets my MotM, good to see him further forward for the attacks and still doing his bit in the middle and capping it with a well taken goal.
Need to stick with rusyn imo, he will be a player for us. Just needs a run of games, pleased both got a good rin out today
