Are we playing in the prem? Twine has more champ experience then vinagre, more experience of English football and over double the first team career appearances. The lad is not inexperienced or all that young in football terms. He's just not the player we hoped he would be ( yet )

Don’t bother. Engaging with him is like trying to plait fog. And he has the brass neck to go on about others indulging in semantics.<laugh>

Glad to see a full house, a dry walk to the ground, pubs open & us having a decent team with some great players are all making sure everyone gets along…

We got rid of Elder because he wasn’t good enough, his replacement isn’t good enough either and we’ll get rid of him before too long. Correct decision in both cases.

City bought FC tickets? News to me.

The arrangement City and FC had, that was costing City and benefiting FC and was binned by Assem, wasn’t to do with City buying FC tickets.

Not to be a negative Nancy but I predict another draw. 1-1.

Thought he’d go for Traore/Tufan over Doc, but still not ideal. Traore prone to lapses in concentration and could be costly when playing deeper

The last time Traoré started in centre-midfield was alongside Simons in the cup against Donny and he was absolutely woeful. Here’s hoping he’s much better there today. A midfield of Seri, Traoré and Twine is incredibly lightweight though. Would’ve thought Tufan or even Docherty starting just for some physicality and to balance the midfield. Preston are quite a physical team. Their midfielders in Whiteman, Browne and Ledson are all quite physical and they play with 3 centre-backs.

We must be hoping we can control possession sufficiently to negate the impact of their physicality.

That is probably the idea, yes, but it’s still a big risk. We could and probably will have 60%+ possession but we’re at a huge disadvantage when it comes to duels in the middle of the pitch. Those turnovers could hurt us if they hit us on the break.

Doc’s not the most technical player we have in midfield but I’d have stuck him next to Seri just to balance the midfield today.

I suspect Greaves will play the inverted role wherever possible to add extra support.

Has anyone else tried to check if they can get the game from outside the country and already have a feed from the stadium without having paid anything? Currently reading out the team.
