Nice one! I got the impression from somewhere that Mayenda’s English was not bad - bright lad maybe? Might be from the snippets I’ve seen of him on the club’s media, like the Question of the week.
Spellman looks canny, but to be honest they are all doing ok, can tell Spurs are good side. Our CMs are working their socks off.
Been a few changes at this level over the last year or two , getting back to where we were when Patto came through along with one or two others who might have benefitted from the new regime. Patto was lucky as the keepers at first team level were shockingly bad, and Patto looked a good bet as soon as I saw him play in the youth team, as did Olly Younger and Paddy Almond the CD's in front of him but they never got the chance to shine , and unfortunately both have had cruel luck with injuries , before and since leaving the club.
Watched paddy a few times for blyth thought he’d have gone on to be okay if not for his accident, lad was a unit but not the tallest for a centre half, not sure what happened with younger know he went to Doncaster but not heard much since
Younger has had a series of bad ham string injuries witch have all but ruined his career, huge blows and a shame as I thought he was the best bet of the three I have mentioned at the time.
Shame, thought he should have played more than he did here especially when we had the centre back crisis in the covid year
