Hope we get a couple of fresh faces into he starting 11 personally. If you're not doing it after 3 league defeats on the bounce, you never will and it doesn't send a good message to the lads waiting for their opportunity on the bench.

Need the big 3. Hope it's turn around time.

I don’t think it’s them being marked out of the game that’s an issue they’re still so good at beating their man it’s just the decision making around the box. They don’t look up enough

I don't think Hume is the right partner for Roberts. He doesn't overlap enough in the same way that Huggins and Cirkin do, so it's easier for defenders to double up on him. Now that Cirkin is back, I would move Huggins to RB

I seen a report about a few clubs looking at Brandon Williams and I was hoping we were one of them but knew there probably wasn’t much chance and I was fairly happy with our full back options. Thought he fit the bill for us, a lot of potential but struggled a bit previously and had an attitude problem. Knowing what I know now with how well he’s playing for Ipswich, Cirkins injuries and Hume struggling a little I think it would’ve been a great signing. We still have Pembele to look forward too

Humes quality. May need a little rest as he’s been playing international football too but very good player for us.

I agree.I think we're well covered in full back positions mate. Hume, Huggins, Cirkin, Alese and (based on reputation) Pembele would all more than likely walk into most Championship sides and two or three of them could play at a higher level. We have a few positions on the pitch to be a little concerned about, but full back isn't one of them.

Don't doubt his quality mate. Just think we have better options. As I've said, I think we're well catered for at full back.

Hume is a good full back I just worry about his style of play alongside Roberts. As mentioned he’s not one to overlap, he tends to drift in-field more which sees Roberts get isolated. He should be bombing past him and getting to the byline to put balls into the box but instead Roberts ends up cutting inside and running into trouble more often than not trying to do it all himself.

Personally if I was starting Hume I think he’d compliment a quicker winger who can play to the byline himself and put balls into the box. If I was to persist with Roberts then I think Pembele could be the answer.

There's been times when we've had no natural full backs, we're OK now imo hence Gooch's departure.

Pembele would def help roberts, as hes a pacey attacking fullback

I liked that roberts never went hiding on Tuesday night, just needs to show a bit more composure in the final 3rd. Here's hoping he delivers tomorrow

I was impressed, tried too hard but I expect Mowbray would've noticed.

Dont think rotation is a bad idea tbh., especially when we are winning in fact that is the very time to do it and TM has passed up on countless occasions when he should have given done it , and given regulars a break and Fringe players a chance, we have plenty to do this imo.

You could also argue that he does not get back quick enough when he losses the ball, Clarke does and is the only one of the front three with goals and assists to his name , but I have said my piece about Roberts and if he is picked as I am almost certain he will be, I genuinely hope he hits the form he showed last season and the season before to shut me up.

We have terrible weather here, travel is disrupted and I have a meeting planned, with the gardeners, at 11am.

It wouldn't be sensible to consider going tomorrow so ...

... just checking train times <laugh>

I hope Roberts gets back to his best as well. Unlike years gone by, you can see players like him busting a gut to perform and it makes them easy to like and root for. Sometimes it comes off and sometimes it doesn’t but it’s not for the want of trying. The same goes for all of the new lads.

Well said mate, I'm tired of our players being rubbished after a couple of average games ...

... it proves how people's expectations change and, for some, nothing is ever good enough.

We have a bunch of rejects and young lads who sometimes get it wrong and a manager trying to encourage/coach/bully them who also gets it wrong.

But ffs, it's not long since we were an absolute laughing stock with every player worth less than we'd paid for them ...

... now they're all worth more.

I can't wait to see the team for tomorrow and watch some quality football ... win or lose.

Frustrating because dribbling/ball control and first touch he’s the best in the division for a winger. Nobody comes close. Just needs to get his head up a bit more because he doesn’t have Amad within 5 yards to make those cute 1-2s. If we struggle to play to a striker I think TM needs to be telling the 10 to get over that right hand side and help Roberts as much as possible.

Honestly in my opinion our squad is easily within the top 6 of this division. A lot of our best Xl are young lads who’ll go on to play in the prem I’ve no doubt about that. I was talking to a mate from the Boro about this the other day and from their team that beat us if you were to put together a combined Xl how many of their lads get in? Hackney easily and maybe Dael Fry? I couldn’t say any of the others I’d pick which makes me start to think that the squad isn’t the problem. We do miss an experienced midfielder though.

TM can’t continue picking the same team if we keep getting beat and that’s my worry, that he will. If we play the same Xl and go behind early tomorrow I think the atmosphere will be toxic.

It won't, most people appreciate what the club are trying to do in the grand scheme of things ...

... not just kneejerking themselves into a frenzy.

I wish I could agree mate, but I don’t think they do. There’s far too much knee-jerking, for example half the stand where I am chanting for Danny Bathh after we conceded to Rotherham and I think if we are to lose that’s 5 losses in 7 with 1 of our wins against Wednesday and no real rotation to try and fix it, that’s shocking for a squad as good as ours imo.

How long do you let it continue if we don’t start picking up points?
