Regarding Tonali’s ban , it said it was 18 months but 8 months is for a ‘therapeutic’ plan to help him recover from his addiction. Does the remaining 10 months just last a continuous 10 months or as it should be, it should be 10 months of the football season, ie the remaining 6 months of this season and then the first 4 months of next season?
no idea. it's 8 month of being a good boy and going about to coaching kids or whatever amd talking to addicts or whatever and is probably during his 10 months off on a massive wage. I strongly suspect he will head back to Milan, put his feet up and keep gma long and fake the lot.
I read that he's out till August so it isn't just the football season. I think it means he can't train with the team either, I could be wrong but I'm sure I read that a ban means no training with your club at all. Which means he has to keep himself fit so when the ban's over he won't be ready to play for a while.
That's how it's been for others (usually a slightly shorter ban on training though) so would imagine that's the case

he can play poker, craps, roulette and bet all he likes on horses, dogs and fighting. take your pick. betting on football = spot fixing and game fixing which is absolutely huge.
Newcastle has got some exceptional PR working this. The lad's being pushed as some sort of hero, lap of honour and everything. I feel sympathy for any addict and I'm glad he's being given help but to my mind it would be better to do what others in the same situation have done, stay in the background and work hard to get better and stay fit.
it's hilarious. hew ran from Italy on the basis of being chased by serious criminals for debts and may well have spot fixing issues that are dodgy but can't be proved.
I read an Italian article (translated into English) that said the one thing in his favour about betting on his own team was that it was always to win.
on official accounts they could track to him. why is he running for gangsters who run unofficial books then? why is there a series of odd booking etc that can't be explained?
They know he also used illegal platforms to place bets so chances are, if they have found them, then they also know what he bet on.
Although it's reported as "breaches of FFP" I think it's regarded as just one 'offence'. Were you multiplying the points in your head for what city's point deduction should be?
Just seeing lots of people saying "if Everton get a 12pts deduction, how many will Man City get for their 115 charges" so made me wonder how many Everton's were. 1380pts deduction for Man City would be quite nice though
