I've lost count the number of times Roberts has to return the ball backwards to sender, especially first half , surely TM should see this and encourage or impose some variation as you suggest.

The only thing I'd change is Rusyn or Hemir for Burstow, as you say we played well against Leicester we were back on form. I'd also like to see us making subs earlier and giving some of the other lads a decent chance to prove themselves.

Teams are working out how to stop us playing to our maximum. Clarke is getting double or sometimes treble marked. As said previously Roberts is not as effective as last season and we now have a striker through the middle. We need to start mixing up the way we play - even it's it's just a long ball for him to chase more and again.

This thread sums up just about all of our worries and expectations for this Norwich game.

All in all, a win for us is paramout between two teams with poor form over the last ten days.

We are at home, and anything less than a win will probably spread a negative feeling amongst many.

Not only that, there's a chance we might slip into the bottom half of the table, where the points are so close togather now.

An unwanted slide is tough to recover from. Having said that, a win will keep us in the mix.

I've always said that on the run up to Christmas a run of wins is a really important part of a football season because within that Chiristmas period the games come thick and fast.

Without me panicking, I say - Nothing but a win please lads.

Play a CF together with the best two orthordox wingers in the league. And, if fit, we need a player with tricks behind that CF, Pritch or Dack would be a fit.

    Ha'way me Bonny Lads !!!!

Would love to see a Prichard floated ball onto the head of hemir into the back of the net, happened a few times in pre season but to be honest I don’t care who scores and how just need to win

"Best two" on this seasons evidence ? really not sure about that.
"Pritch or Dack" not Pritch , I agree with others that Pritch is best coming on later, maybe even before 65 mins if required but not to start. Dack maybe or Rusyn in there ( or Adil when fit ) we are spoilt for choice there imo. Its TM's job to make the right ones , lets hope he does. OaU

Looks like he may leap frog 1 or 2 of the strikers in the squad already

Hoping we have our shooting boots on for this one and I know that most see things different to me but I hope ref has no bearing on match because whilst our last 3 results have not been great if the ref in those games had been up to scratch we may be more positive about our chances tomorrow.
For the record I thought Keith Stroud had a decent game and was let down by his assistant but the other 2 games the less said abut them the better. My money on a 2-0 HWTL

I'm not on Twitter, so it might be Journo,s just "fishing" is it called, or TM playing games who knows, But I am pleased Mayenda is close to full fitness another option is a plus, but only if they are given fair and equal opportunity to make it here. In some cases thats debatable at the moment from what I see.

I'm all for giving people a chance but, realistically, you have to give them four or five matches to allow them to A) Get match fit and B) Get up made a great impact. to speed with team mates. That's a hell of a long time in football. People wanted Ba to be given a chance but he's not really made a great impact.

Other people are asking for Bennette, Rusyn, Rigg, etc. So, obviously, not everyone will be happy and, in the meantime, if we don't win the blame will all be directed at Mowbray, not the players he's brought in.

If we play as well against Norwich as we did Leicester I'd expect us to win and then things will revert to how they were when we were beating Southampton, Blackburn, QPR and Sheff Wed. ...

... tbf there weren't too many calls for rotation then.

With injuries and suspensions there'll be plenty of opportunities for 'fringe' players to stake a claim, if they don't they'll be dropped again.

Great thread again RTB top notch. I think we played well at Leicester deserved something from that game. The signs are there just need confidence of a goal or two. I think Saturday will be the confidence building day when it all clicks and Norwich will get a good hammering. Big home win and a goal or two for the centre forward. Yes I'm sober. :1980_boogie_down:
