It shows that he is not that amazing as I was one of many who did not even notice that he was one of the people who were dropped.
There is still absolutely nothing to prove it, I did not hear on BBC radio Kent as I turned off at the end of the game.
jaygills - thanks Right Mr Rooney! remember this comment... @luke_rooney Luke Rooney On the way to the game looking forward to being a part of an fa cup tie for the first time! Hessy kept faith and gave you those opportunities. Get the deal done and sign for that badge you wear on your shirt every Saturday
Really disappointed with this. I've all ways supported Rooney through the good and bad but if he does not sign this deal, I never want to see him wearing our badge again. Players have the right to get the best deal for themselves but there is also something else that should not be overlooked, I use Danny Kedwell as an example you should want to wear that badge with pride if not then... Not everything is about money, I've taken lessor wages to be happier in life and the same should apply to loyalty.
I cant see we've offered him any less money than what he is on so he obviously believes he is better than playing for Gills, if this is the case, let him go, this is the second time his done this. He won't get a game in many if any teams in league 1 at the moment so I don't really understand him. Just compare his behaviour and loyalty to the club to Payne.
I'm sure Jack Payne has ambitions to play at a higher level, so he's signed a new contract, will work hard and get noticed for all the right reasons. When a bigger club comes in for him I will be pleased to see him realize his ambition and wish him all the best. Rooney take note of how it should be done.
Sorry I'm currently holding fire on this subject until I know more. There could be any number of reasons why he hasn't signed, although I fear his agent may have a LARGE role in it. Bottom line for me is that if he doesn't want to be at the Gills then thank you and good bye, I will wish him all the best for the future. I have now read the BBC write up and it does appear that he has been offered improved terms but is still unwilling to sign. Is he our Tevez? Showing the worst of a footballer? Selfish, greedy and completely out of touch with how the world is outside the bubble of professional football? With the whole of the European monetary system on the brink of collapse the world as we know it could be heading for complete and utter disaster but all he cares about is a bit more money. Well if it isn't sorted soon it won't matter how much money you have Mr. Rooney as it'll be worthless!
I think you might be spot on Gemini. Particularly as Hess put's like this: "But, although we made Luke a very good offer, THEY'RE adamant THEY'RE not going to sign it."
