A very good and honest report of the game. The Gills were in were in complete control of the first half - and unlucky not to have scored a couple of more goals. Although Aldershot pressed more in the second half, I felt that if the Gills had decided to go forward, they would have had more success - but that never seems to be the way that the Gills do things.
A good all round performance ( in the sort of games that need to be won to gain promotion. ) Nobody had a bad game, and it was particulary pleasing to see that Jack Payne has come back from injury just as good as before - but he does worry me with the total committment when tackling - a couple of times today he took knocks when challenging for the ball. I greatly admire his will to win the ball - but it makes me wince at the thought that he might get hurt when going just a little bit too hard on some occasions.

From what I heard we were amazing in then first half, just as good as games we got 5 or 6, but second half did not match in attacking side.
