he clearly lacks a memory does brb……there has been Jewish living in the area until they got swamped by Zionists and abused in equal measures with their former Arab neighbours but yeah they have always lived there well since 1947
The irony of a strawman argument when you accuse me of defending Hamas. That is literally taking a stupid polar stance and you know it. Right through this thread I’ve condemned what they did on 7th Oct. But you fail to see or recognise any of the context and instead have jumped to trying to paint my stance into an us and them, without recognising any or the nuance. On top of that you resort to stupid name calling. A sure sign you don’t have a clue where I’m coming from and have instead indulged in the very thing you’re accusing me of. Nobody is justifying what Hamas did,
Two thirds of Israeli's were born in Israel, which was my point, I never mentioned the West Bank, but I expect Israeli's do come under attack from there. Everyone keeps saying it's stolen land, you can't have stolen something you were born on. It's like saying an illegal immigrant who comes to the UK and has a child here, is not British, of course they are if they were born here. You can't leave them stateless like the British government wrongly did with Shamima Begum - so whetther you like or not, regardless if the land was previously stolen, two thirds of Israeli's have the right to be there, so people need to stop hiding behind the 'stolen' rhetoric. Hamas wishes to obliterate Israel, but the people there belong there, you can't now move them all these decades on, you have to own your problems, not wrongly take their citizenship away because it don't suit your ideology of the area, which in the main is to eradicate all Jews.
Aliyah Zionist ideologies happened pre 20s not long after said Britain supported Rothschilds request to be given the land….round table Masonic lodge init
Ukrainians took an opportunistic moment under the reign of Gorbachev to be independent from the USSR, Putin now wants that land back, the West say no. I don't see people crying to the same level over the complete and utter devastation the Russians have caused to some towns and villages, completely wiping them off the map.
The nazi leader of Ukraine will be chuffed you remember him he was getting a little jealous of not being the number 1 hero on the tv news.
Er hang on, I was the one who said we shouldn't get involved, I quoted history and that Ukraine belonged to Russia, from before the break up of the USSR. I was reminded to ignore history and to accept that people of Ukraine, born and live there, should have the right to independence. I now say the same argument belongs to Israel, but because of all the anti Israel and anti Jew thoughts, it's fook Israel they stole it, which is completely wrong imho. I've accepted to ignore history of before Israel existed, but it appears double standards now apply.
People constantly quote history as a form of argument, it's history as much as religion that is causing these wars. It needs to stop, Israeli's like Ukranians aint going any where, whether people like it or not.
No it's not, I've always been very clear where I stand on Ukraine, so it just shows you are the one that is not paying attention. There were two people on this forum that spoke out originally against getting involved, me and Archers. Not my fault you have either a very bad memory or my answer does not fit your rhetoric. So to accuse me of liking Nazi's is a bit below the belt, but it's to be expected from you, you call anyone a nazi that does not agree with you or proves you wrong.
So if my missus gives birth in Harrods, I get to keep it? Cool. ... but I think we are making different points - I'm wholly supportive of Israel existing on the basis of the original territorial boundaries agreed in 1948 and ratified by the Oslo accord - but I'm wholly against Israel being allowed to retain territory gained by illegal land grabbing and illegal settlements being established...
