I know what I've seen. If you read back I actually agree with you and say he had a better 2nd half but he is clearly far behind Kamara and Gray in the pecking order. He lacks the physicality to really thrive in the Championship. We won't see him too often unless we get injuries. We were dominated in midfield. Ampadu is usually rock solid in there but Gruev either wasn't a passing option or even worse the defenders didn't trust him with the ball so went long.

I had the same thought, was Struijk too weak a captain to overrule Bamford or did he indeed prefer the idea of Bamford taking it. On Sky you can clearly see Rutter speaking to Bamford and it looked like Bamford mouthed it's mine I am taking it
