The Potters had won just once in eight games (from all competitions), that is, before upsetting the odds by beating play-off hopefuls Sunderland last weekend. Whilst three valuable points may have given Stoke Manager Alex Neill a stay of execution, few, including the bookies give them much hope of overturning a Leeds side who are starting to find their rhythm. Their victory at the weekend coincided with a return to fitness for Enda Stevens, Ki-Jana Hoever, Ryan Mmaee, Andre Vidigal and Lynden Gooch, but will still be without key players Ben Wilmot (Defender), former Whites Midfielder Lewis Baker and forward Tyrese Campbell. please log in to view this image Leeds will be without the services of Junior Firpo, Djed Spence and Stuart Dallas. The trio have all returned to training but with ten minutes of combined game time between them this season, are still a long way from being named in Daniel Farke's line-up. With Patrick Bamford fully fit, Leeds have the luxury of resting Joel Piroe should Farke wish to do so. Crysencio Summerville and Daniel James may also sit this one out in favour of Wilfred Gnonto and Jaidon Anthony. Archie Gray struggled at right wing-back against Norwich. Luke Ayling and Jamie Shackleton may fight it out for the No2 position, allowing the 17yo a well needed rest. The last time these two teams played (in the league) was 2019/20. Not only did Leeds do the double, but did so in style, with an aggregate of eight goals to none.
It's entirely winnable. Stoke have been hit and miss this season. Hoping we get them on an off night. I'd be content with a draw but I'm hoping for a win.
Win only for me, to keep the pressure on Ipswich, who will surely fold sometime soon (famous last bloody words) Going for a 0-2 win.
Game over nothing else matters. Guaranteed to see Rutter top the golden boot league tomoz in a 0-23 win for Leeds. Rutter scores 9 tomoz and a dozen assists. I’ve put a tenner on just that at 4 million to win and already ordered my new car and putting a offer in on Cliff Richard’s Portuguese gaff
Got my “Trevor Cherry” retro shirt ready and off to watch in the con club though not sure what CL games are on tomorrow
No. The white one with the blue/yellow stripe collar and cuffs on short sleeves. “Smiley face” badge circled with the club name.
My worry tonight is if Stoke, do a Stoke, and go long ball and set pieces. If they look to play I reckon we’ll get something from this one. Hopefully Alex Neil will have them trying to play football as they’re the home side, rather than hoofball. Guess I’m not the only one where the blood pressure goes into overdrive every time we concede a corner. 1-2 Leeds (hopefully)
well I always run my little computer program 5 times, and 1-1 was the best of them, unless of course you prefer a 3-3 draw. Basically it arrived at 1-1 twice, 3-3 once and then two defeats either 2-1 or 3-1, so I decided to be positive and post the 1-1 prediction
A wet and windy Wednesday night in Stoke so what could possibly go wrong ? Ok maybe not as the forecast is 7 deg C with zero chance of rain and a light 3mph wind
Farke read Ells morning news about Gruev being pissed off and started the fella. Basically, if we lose its @ellandback fault.
bit of a shake up out wide but still quality and nice and fresh. nice to see Gruev start let's see what he brings to the party. let's go 4 on the bounce they are there for the taking a few of there better players back i heard are back from injury but they still not up to match sharpness. Enda Stevens an example doesn't start as can't do 2 games in a row yet. someone's gonna getting a tonking real soon and it might be tonight.
You'll all be glad to know I'm at work so I can't watch the game. So we're gonna win if past records are anything to go by.
