That is absolutely pathetic! P.S I'm glad I took a second read of it because I missed you saying it was from some FB walloper and was about to ask what the **** you were on about with such drivel!
doubt your opinion will change to be honest, as you say it is great to watch but the opposition lived through it last season and we would be very naive to think they will let it keep happening...right now i am 'for' more height in defence and a change in attack to supply the lads we have because i can see all the lads trying even when knackered, we just need to fine tune it a bit.
How many minutes have each of them had? Burstow has been given much more leeway. Rusyn is lucky if he's had half an hour in total. I'm wondering if Mowbray likes playing foreigners. Last season Michut was playing as well as Neil, but it was always him who got the hook, then when Ekwah emerged, Michut hardly got a kick. Now he seems reluctant to play Seelt at the back, Aouchiche has looked very useful when he's come on but doesn't get a lot of minutes and he continues to prefer a useless lump up front to Hemir or the more experienced Rusyn.
You can add Bennette to that list, I am no statistician but his figures must be the best at the club yet he doesnt even make the bench, and does anyone know why Adil Aouchiche was missing yesterday ?
3 things that stood out last night for me last night 1. Roberts is the most frustrating player ithink we've ever had. His first touch and ability to beat a man without really trying is frankly a joke but when it comes to the critical moment of being able to shoot or make the final pass he over runs it or gets the ball stuck in his feet. He hasn't scored this season and I don't think he has an assist which for someone of his ability is criminal. 2. Dan Neil is our most important player only possibly 2nd to Ballard at the minute. I think he's going to the Premiership sooner rather than later if it's with us it will have to be promotion this season or he will be snapped up. 3. Ba is probably the worst finisher I've ever seen. That's 2 absolute horror shows in the last 2 games when he has missed the target with very simple chances. These are just my opinions of course. Overall I was happy with how we played but a couple of critical errors cost us a point if not 3.
So,not too bad then. We're a work in progress and we'll have more setbacks before this season is done. We'll also have more excellent play, which will win matches, and which Leicester fans are saying is the best they've seen this season.
Tbh I just think we need to use our squad more! We pick up way too many injuries probably because of lack of rotation? it wouldn’t kill to give Clarke a little rest or jobe. It’s not dropping them it’s protecting them from burnout ya simply can’t play the same team 3 times a wk all season imo.
“Below 6th is failure”. Didn’t realise the season ended last night!! We have some complete bell ends “supporting” us!
A snide dug about snide digs! How ironic. Answer his question, I haven’t seen it and am nit trawling through, so if you simply said instead of having a snide dig, then you might get more response. unless you’re 12 and decide “I’ve said it once so am not saying it again” is your chosen defence. by the way, I am not being snide here, I am having a dig
I’m interested to see where people think we are this season compared to other teams. In terms of the football we play at times I’d argue as good as anyone but with the defensive frailties and issues in front of goal I have no idea where we stand and the more I think about it the more I think there’s 6 teams better than us and play offs will be a real challenge. Are we better than the likes of Norwich and Hull? 2 teams I don’t even expect to be in the top 6.
Fabian Hürzeler. 30 years old. Took over St Pauli during the world cup break last season while 15th and finished the season 5th, including a 10 game winning run. Unbeaten this season and top of the league. Plays a very aggressive 3-4-3 formation, averages over 50% possession and have a lot of shots. Very attacking style of play. P: 28 W: 19 D: 7 L: 2 Scored: 57 Conceded: 22 Would he come? Not so sure but I think it's a realistic shout. That is the profile of head coach I would like at the club, and judging by who we were linked with in the summer he fits the profile. Mowbray is fine but probably won't be here after the end of this season so why not take a chance and look for someone who could be the coach for the next 5+ years.
Of course healthy debate is welcome, as are opinions. As for mistakes, it comes down to a striker for me.
Always surprises me folk jump to overseas coaches. If we are going for random young inexperienced coaches (with an inexperienced squad it would be an odd mix) you might as well go for Mousinho at Pompey. Way too much faith in overseas coaches for me when in reality they are not as good as our own.
