If play offs is the best you'd thought we would manage, how is that 'progress' from last year?

Always the same with these scenarios, no matter which club ...

... some people feel totally qualified to sack the current manager but incapable of so much as suggesting the next.

Because I measure progress on more than just the league position ...

... the club, imo, is better than it was during our last few PL seasons.

Just get something right here, if you can find a post from me saying he should be replaced please show me

And your final sentence is rubbish. People can identify if something isnt good enough without having a replacement, do people have to stick by your rule of having a replacement in mind?

To be fair, we got in the POs with a ridiculously low points tally. If we finished 7th on 10 more points than last year I'd call that progress.

Beside the crap journey to Leicester last night, the difference for me was, the final ball, and the striker situation which clearly needs sorting out.

We have nothing to fear in this league, but vulture circling for best players.

Well my view is that we actually played well. Cut them open on a number of occasions but the final ball or shot was just not there tonight. A very soft goal to give away from a corner which is very frustrating. Need to start taking chances we create. Dan Neil was top draw last night but needs to get some shooting practice as this is one thing he doesn't do particularly well. Much better performance and unlucky not to grab a point. I've seen o nien criticised my problem with him tonight was his distribution out of defence. Gave the ball away multiple times putting us back under pressure. Word to our supporters tonight magnificent loud and proud the entire game. Fantastic. On we go to Saturday and a game we need to win against a team not in good form. Keep the faith lads and lasses.

Why can't someone have an opinion without being accused of having an agenda?

Same goes for Bennette perfect for us right now ( fast direct and he actually scores and makes assists) yet does not get a minute to prove it if Patrick is available, This waffle about speaking English is a costly joke.

Eh? It's simply an opinion based on what's in front of me. We haven't replaced Stewart with a forward who is good enough. Has any of our strikers scored a single league goal? Like between 3 of them?

We have lost 6 games already this season and it's October. We are letting goals in from a lot of set players which we didn't last year.

We have been beaten by nearly all the top 6 while beating championship fodder at the bottom.

No agenda but I am frustrated in both the recruitment and our manager doing what Blackburn fans warned us about. Picking his favourites and stubborn to make subs. Hemir getting on at 90 mins last night for example. Playing Clarke through the middle with 2 strikers on the bench.

No agenda but speaking on what's in front of me.

I never said there is a rule about having a replacement in mind - so dont twist what i said

I also never said you said you wanted him sacked. What im saying is, as supporters we should have an opinion on who is manager of our club as its our club! Im not saying we will always have an idea as to who, and thats fine if no names come to mind but we should always have an opinion on the type of manager we want

I also wasnt having a dig or go at you, if it came across that way it wasnt intended.

We all love our club on here n we all want what is best for the club

The comparison with last season is favourable:

    2022/3
    P-13 W-4 D-5 L-4 F-17 A-13 Pts-17 Pos-11th

    2023/4
    P-13 W-6 D-1 L-6 F-21 A-15 Pts19 Pos-9th

More wins, more points, more goals, higher in the league

Sure the number of defeats is a worry (but I'd rather win 2, lose 2 than draw all 4) and we have conceded more goals but there is a hell of a lot of football left to play this season

    Canny comparison.

We need rusyn to get some mins and sort of replicate Amad really. A surprising package etc. Maybe seelt gets some mins and makes us more robust at the back from set plays?
