We can have an opinion tho, as fans we are always quick to say 'sack the manager' or 'we should sign a better striker' but rarely do people give an opinion on who we should get

Its always easy saying get rid of someone but def harder saying we should replace with X because of Y

I thought our shape last night was spot on and we competed well in most areas, Leicester looked good especially when they got into the last third but we created enough for me to feel positive that we could compete with them and by their own admission we are by far the hardest test they have had. All being said we do look lacking in final third at the minute and I think it is probably a confidence thing more than anything else.
Reading some of the posts on here and some on F/Book you would think we were the worst team in the league which is nowhere near accurate and if truth be told maybe a bit of luck and officiating in our last 3 games then it would probably look a lot rosier. I cant remember 3 games in a row where every big decision in games would go against us (I actually thought Stroud was decent last night but his assistant let him down) and hopefully when it evens itself out (which everybody tells us happens over a season but never really seems to for us) maybe we will get a few decisions our way.
Do I expect the team to get stronger over the season? Most definitely! Do I think we will lose more games? Yes! Do I think we will make play offs? Yes I believe we will and are capable of more!
I have stated before that this is a young developing side and every game is a learning curve, mix into that new players bein incorporated into a new team and in some cases into a new country will need our support so I don't think its time to hit the panic button I actually think it is time to show our support as I believe that they are still learning every single game and they will have taken a lot from last nights game and I hope take some of there frustrations out on Norwich on Saturday.
For me now is the time for the supporters to really stand up and show that support but I fear that the hesitation and negativity may well creep in but we will have to wait and see.

Do you think people research coaches and their style of play? Haway man, thats the job of the club. People are seeing mowbray week in week out, if they think he isnt doing it, they dont need to have a replacement in mind, thats the job of the club.

Agreed. Heard a lot of "surely there is an experienced CDM in a PL squad who we could sign" or "there's got to be a experienced striker out there who will get us 15 goals a season"

Yet, when challenged no-one can give me any names..............

It almost seems we've had more praise from Leicester fans than our own. We played very well imo and lost to the team that'll easily finish top.

I'm not interested in playing the 'Manager hokey kokey' tbh. QPR fans are doing that to the extent that some are wanting the team to lose to force Ainsworth out.

The club, imo, is being properly run and we're making progress. I want further progress, promotion, etc, but I'm not stamping my feet just yet.

I doubt the manager and players will throw the towel in as quickly as some supporters..

What I am confident in is that this current regime will absolutely sign a Head Coach who is aligned to our style of play and won't want to rip it up like we saw in the PL years.

Going from Bruce to MON to PDC to Poyet to Advocaat to Allardyce to Dr Gloom had us playing differently each time with the new manager wanting his own players in and discarding the previous set

Was it Coates, or possibly Vergini who, by the time he signed permanently, we'd changed manager 3 times and neither of the last 2 wanted him :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Championship table November 1st last season, no need to hit the panic button yet, yesterday was frustrating but we know better than to right these lads off our bad run last year ended against Norwich here’s hoping history repeats itself Saturday

It might be the job of the club but at least have an opinion on who you want to take our club forward

We don't have Amad and I don't see Tony dropping 09. That'd the 2 glaring issues on the field at opposite ends. We are poor in the air, at the back and don't have Amad to make up for not having a striker who can notch.

So do you think everyone has a database on coaches? If they think Mowbray isnt doing it, they shouldnt criticise unless they can name a replacement :)

100% this is what annoys me with fans

Its our club so we should have an opinion on who we want as manager, owners or players. They'll be the ones that represent us

The striker situation is annoying, we all want one of our players to bag 10/15 goals a season however its not as simple as that

I watch so much football n strikers are so hard to find now. I think its the messi n ronaldo impact on the game, everyone wants to be a winger n play as an inside forward. The club i scout have turned a winger into a CF as weve been struggling to sign a quality striker

People saying we won't go up on here and elsewhere.

I'm looking forward to the Norwich game and believe we have enough, in the squad, to make the play-offs which is the best I thought we'd manage.

Got nothing to do with having a database, but if you watch football then you should know different managers out there. Its just about having an opinion about who you think would be best thats all

Its not, its some people thinking Mowbray isnt the man, and you saying you cant say that unless you have a replacement in mind.
