We should drop Bruno for the City game.

Play a midfield 3 of Casemiro, Amrabat and Erikssen/Mount

Think i would start with Mount and bring Eriksen on later in the game. Mount needs some games to prove his worth or lack of it, the chances he's had so far are pretty few.

    Yes, definitely.

But then, he was given the captaincy! Can't drop the captain, right? (didn't stop him with Maguire though)

Rashford should also be dropped, but he won't be either. Nor can he seemingly be substituted, despite giving a good impression of playing walking football half the time.

I keep reading articles or stats that suggest Bruno is our most effective player - but I've yet to see any evidence of it on the pitch. A few games resting with some 'injury' or other might do him good, plus it would give ETH the opportunity to play Mount without he and Bruno taking up the same space - it might give us an idea of what Mount can actually do because, so far, he has been largely ineffective because he is always played out of position.

While he's at it, ETH should rest Rashford and give Garnacho a decent run of starts too. The lad is hungry and must be getting royally pissed of at ETH's refusal to drop Rashford.

What worries me is that I'm not seeing Garnacho progressing. If anything I'm seeing his game stagnate and he's becoming less effective.

I honestly do wonder what's going on with our coaching, and in our training.

Because imo the likes of Bruno and Rashford are being impacted by it as well.

Bruno is a far better player than what we're seeing.

Btw I also read some stats saying he was a key player last night. That only goes to show stats can be meaningless when compared to actually watching the game!

    Cytrax take note <whistle>
