Yellow for Chair as they break forward and he pulls their man's shirt. The free kick didn't beat the second man, and was headed clear.
Wasted free kick in a decent position and chair booked for wanting their players shirt as a souvenir...
Play ball up to Dykes and no one within 30 metres of him.... ball just keeps coming back to them... No ambition.....
So, it's clear that we've set up 5-4-1, in order to frustrate them. To that end, it's worked. But, all we do is knock it into the channels and wait for them to attack again. We have zero interest in going forward, apart from corners, which have been awful. The best opportunity was the Chair free kick and that was terrible. We have succeeded in frustrating them till half time at least.
I'd rather go back to work mate. Then again what do i know, i still have my eyelids triple-stapled shut so i cant watch
Well we have a game plan at least, which is pretty novel for our manager. It's just a shame our plan is to bore the opposition into submission. Not sure I've seen a duller half of football.
I've been watching it on WBA TV as I am sick of listening to that Nick London on our channel. Their commentary is quite good and to the point. QPR have come here to get everyone behind the ball. Playing 5-4-1 and at times 5-5-0. The co commentator said he felt sorry for the away fans as we seemed absolutely clueless.
Not seen any of the game but the stats make depressing reading - no doubt he’ll go on about how we just lacked a bit of quality in the final third blah blah blah
Fans will get on their back after another ten minutes. A 0-1 win with a late Armstrong goal and Brummie wives hiding under the bed.
