Has Newcastle also banned old polluting men from entering their city? <whistle><whistle>

You might think that, I couldn’t possibly comment. Having been to few matches there, I think you could say they are alive and kicking on match days.

We have lots of buses starting from many different places. Though the old bus station in Southampton only managed Hants & Dorset buses and the Corporation buses went from Above Bar or The Pier?

We’re going to have a “bus gate” in Portland Terrace soon, just to make getting in or out of town by car even more difficult than it already is.

Jeremy is from Carnforth about 20 miles North of Preston, he did our friendly at Fleetwood ruined the game by sending two off, by the way the bus station was always a good site for people who had decided to check out of life early, worked in an office block across the road from it and never saw one.
Will have a match thread of sorts up tomorrow night will post on here.
Enjoy the M6 those travelling on the way back the diversions will probably send you by Wrexham the joy of the midweek Championship traveller

Fortunately, being retired I've no need to go to Southampton on a regular basis, so use the bus or train when I do. Always more complex than they seem, simple ideas that is.

If I remember rightly Preston was the name of the singer from The Ordinary Boys.

Well let's hope we are no Ordinary boys on Wednesday.

    Let's smash em<cheers>

It's a bit worrying that not only is the ref a local lad but you're on first name terms with him. Who on earth would send off players in a friendly? Have you met Tom by the way?

I deny any knowledge of Tom
I usually have other names for referees mostly not printable, as for Jeremy, he will give us nothing but he will be fair he will give you nothing as well

Perfect example in this mornings presser of how managers are only really judged on results and they can say/do what they want outside of that.

Martin: "KWP could play anywhere for us apart from CB. I genuinely think he could play no.10 for us, he is that good."

Nothing will be made of that as we are winning games and on good form. If Nathan Jones would have said that then he would be ridiculed. A little like Adkins, came out with some daft stuff but he won!

While I do agree that managers can get away with most things when they are winning and can't get away with even innocuous comments when they are not, I am amazed that we still have KWP and credit must go to him for refocusing up here and playing so well again. He could have easily sulked about not getting a move and let it affect his performances as it had done second half of last season/arguably the very start of this campaign. I wonder how much we were asking for him in the summer as I find it amazing no PL clubs went in for him. He's at least a top 10 PL RB.

KWP is good enough to play for a top 6 Prem club and England. He's just so good, and I agree with RM to an extent. I reckon he could play as a winger on either side and yeah probably as DM/CM/CAM too, especially in this division.

He's a level above the rest of the squad and we are just so lucky that he is a humble lad. What a legend for not kicking up a stink during the summer.

I think KWP could play as CB in a back 3, with the other 2 to go and attack and head the ball. He`s quick enough and clever enough to do so. I remember Paul Parker playing CB for ManU and England - he was shorter than KWP.

    True, but v Hull ...
starting we had 4x21yo Baz, KHB, Smallbone, Sulemana & 1x20yo Charlie
on the bench 1x21yo Mara & 2x20yo Charles, Edozie

I would like to see Amo involved, but we've already got wingers starting and two on the bench so its tricky, its not like we're getting safe leads that allow a risk-free sub, and we all know what happens when you don't have enough experience on the pitch
Someone instead of Aribo would be good, but he's RM's 'safe pair of hands' sub, which I know will stimulate mirth here

Maybe when we get Stewart in and scoring that will open up options? Could be on the bench v Millwall?

We have lots of buses, but trying to direct visitors to the right bus stop is near impossible as we don't have a Bus Station

    # What do we want? A Bus Station
When do we want it? Now
What facilities do we want? A Plesteds Pie Shop #

I have no problem with this
More buses, less cars & pollution, a new park
Park outside the centre and walk

You're not going all anti-ULEZ on us are you?
