Don't disagree but aren't we talking about chances we've created that we should have scored from? Cumulatively across a number of games there have been a lot of clear cut chances we should have scored from. The only reason I mention Leeds (because you're right, we didn't create enough chances) is just how big that chance on its own was.
But it helps to have players who can put the chances away. Someone like Son. Maybe cagey and sitting deep but Spurs had 10 shots, 4 on target. How often do we have stats like that in the first 45 minutes?Or the second?
Haha it was only a matter of time till it happened, I'm sure normal service will resume soon I would love to know the reasons LR was so keen to move him on ( I have my theory), the player was really happy here
He’s also no where near as effective as Delap outside the penalty box. Delap is creating chances for others and the goals will come. If Oscar wasn’t scoring he was invisible.
That's fine, but if we could afford to keep him he still would have been good to have as a secondary option.
i dont at all think he is coming, saw he’s waiting for the United job and apparently Napoli might be talking to him.
Based on the size of Michael Owen I'd guess 'not much of one' would be an appropriate answer to that question.
