In other words you can’t beat me in an argument. No wonder you like teaching primary school kids. You can spout on without interruption. Do you order any daring to have a contrary point of view out of the class?

It's worth mentioning that McKenna was originally in Div 1 not the Championship from the start, to have a season and a half finding your feet there is easier than starting in the Championship IMO.

So McKenna had half of 20/21, 22/23 and this season. It’s not bollocks is it? Rob Edwards already had managerial experience with Forest Green and Watford, he wasn’t coming in cold like Rosie was with us.

We can stick or twist on a manager, but the last few times it hasn’t got us anywhere and we are improved on last season. If at the end of this season, with this squad, we don’t finish noticeably better, then questions can rightly be asked, but let’s not ask those questions in October, eh?

I still think they’ll fall away. But they can be pleased with the work they’ve done.

We aren’t creating at the level they did though, also comparatively he had a much weaker squad for the level then we have so we should be in a position to be creating much more.

If we created a lot more and still struggled to score you think the supporter base would be less frustrated?

It's a moot point anyway since he's getting linked to jobs like Man Utd.

    Yeah I know.

Supporters would certainly be less frustrated at Rosenior. I would be anyway personally. Boro had a torrid start but on chances they’d created they should’ve won majority of those games, hence why they’re now reaping the rewards of the way they’re playing. We’ve done the opposite, getting points when the data suggests the other team “deserved” to win. I know it’s how you interpret them, but in my eyes this period has been coming for a while which is why I’m more frustrated at the lack of adaptation.

I feel the same too, nevertheless, he has them playing good football, but like with Leeds under Bielsa to keep their high energy over a full season is very hard to do.

Don’t think Ipswich will maintain it , many teams fall away after Xmas when fatigue kicks in and squads aren’t big enough or if enough quality to support them . On the topic of managers , new management often kicks in for a while , or maybe in Mckennas case inherited a squad that just needed using better - maybe he got lucky to go with his nous ?

What pissed me off more than anything on Saturday was the guy behind me in North Stand calling one of the male stewards the N word. If I could have got a video of him I wouldn't hesitate on handing it in. The steward did a great job and had words but he got a load more abuse. He slags Coyle off too in a way of wanting him to break his leg. Maybe I'll get lambasted for saying all this. Yes I did say something.

Apart from that the last 30 minutes was a pathetic attempt and we completely lost the plot.

    Onwards and upwards.

Watford fan posted this but it could just as easily apply to us. The Seri-Woods 'double pivot' still gives me nightmares.

Good on you for saying something. A pity some others did not join you instead of keeping quiet. Some stewards need lambasting. but racially abusing them just for their colour and not their actions is reprehensible.

I find it absolutely baffling that anyone can watch this team and say we don't create high quality chances.

What the **** was that farce at the start of the second half on Saturday if not a pair of huge chances to score. One we blocked our own shot (which was weak as piss anyway) and the other we somehow found a way to not even get a shot off despite seeming to have two players through on goal with the keeper. Haven't seen that one back in the highlights, presumably because it didn't end in a shot, but it was an enormous chance. And then there's Delap in the first half which was another big one, although in my opinion defended well and not as bad on our part as the two at the start of the second half were.

Not that I’m calling you a liar but Barry Cooper would have had this all over the national media by now if that really happened.

Meanwhile at rugby they get away with saying whatever they want and it doesn’t even get a mention in the HDM.
