Of course that's the ideal but with the right mentality we should have a decent chance in the play offs. Something like a 50% chance rather than 25% I'd say.

Well here's another piece if info for ya, Tyler Adams was a leading figure in the disarray/split in the squad last season, he was known to belittle the kids in training and in team talks, Marsch allowed him to get away with it, almost encouraging it, until Ayling grabbed him around the throat and told him in no uncertain terms to stop, he then got the new players to side with him causing a divide with them and the ex championship players, it came to a head when Klich took him out in training, Marsch put all the blame on Klich and so he was sold, the divide got worse with the arrival of McKennie. 49ers were determined to build a squad around Adams, without knowing any of this, when they took full control, they were made fully aware of it and told there would be squad disharmony until he was moved on, thats why he was sold , he wanted out, as he knew he was on his own with all his cronies moving on. That's why they should never return to the club and won't.
Where did you get this info from? No doubt there was a massive divide in the squad last season that really became apparent against Palace. With hindsight, I assumed that the players with the relegation release clause’s just downed tools.
I can't say who, the divide was already there verses Palace but grew even wider in the dressing room at half time , don't know the facts but it involved, McKennie,Roca and Ayling, the rumour is Roca couldn't take a few home truths and it all kicked off. Gracia had no idea how to handle what was going on, he had no idea until he took the job and was a beaten man pretty much from the start. Top man Gessa was obvious shyt was happening and I would bet that half time against Palace after blowing them off the park and should have been maybe 3-0 up at half time but conceded right on half time to go in level. We never came out for the second half and got smashed and the season was over right there with whatever went on in the dressing room and Garcia was gone
Have always thought the reason it all kicked off in the dressing room was down the stupid free kick that Roca gave away just before HT that led to the equaliser. Sounds even more plausible now.

He won't be with us regardless mate, his antics left a very bad taste, Iraola questioned his fitness a few weeks back,one we'll move on but unless he has a good second half of the season, then it will be for peanuts. Tbh Doc, think they’ll do ok out of the deal. Reckon we’re the ones who’ll miss out. IMO we will not have got more than £40m for him. They’ll recoup most of that back when they sell him, plus he won’t have triggered any add ons. They’ll probably insert a sell on clause, as we likely did. However if there’s no profit for City in any sale, then there’s nowt more for us. Think he’ll be fine once he plays regularly.
