Amazing tactical switch from Farke yesterday. We'd rather luckily dragged ourselves back into the game at 1-2 but the next 5 minutes Norwich had us really on the back foot again and we needed to change something. Fortunately Farke had a plan and we ended up with; 3 wingers...Gnonto, James (then Anthony) & Summerville Plus; 3 stikers...Rutter, Piroe & Bamford In other words 6 attacking talents/threats instead of the usual 4 but there had to be tactical discipline for it to work and boy did it work.
I got the first half correct it's not my fault Naaarich fecked up the second half. Don't get me started on that Farke fella either with his fancy tactics.. Who does he think he is another messiah.
Not world class as this is the championship. Just seems suited to being a free spirit... Rodney marsh.. Best.. Bowles.. Frank worthington... Etc etc... Just did what they wanted... Gazza too of course.
what a beautiful Sunday. I've re-run the highlights numerous times Just love these turnarounds like that. Our club is just heart attack material we certainly get our ups and down throughout a season we never NEVER do anything simple. Happy weekend boys even the sun has come out whoop whoop.
This team reminds me of larry graysons. We had a load of attackers so he just threw some more on. Trouble was our defence is resembling his as well.
Just watched the highlights again and sorry to say you have to question Meslier for both their goals. I accept there was a lot of power for each of them but if he just stood up he can palm it away. And though their player should have been tackled it was still passed him on his near post.
Meslier ducks under the first. If he closes his eyes as the corner is taken then it hits him between the eyes. The second one he looked like a fifa 20 goalie.
