I want results, not playing OK for 45-60 minutes but still losing. Can see all of our next three opponents clinically but unspectacularly beating us
Shots don’t tell the whole story. We had the best goal mouth scramble in the second half, that probably didn’t register as a shot. A couple of times Vinagre got into the box and made the wrong choice - simple cut back both times was required. I’m sure we would have had a shot.
Just before every game, a negative story comes out, why not say this immediately after the last home game, are they trying to put off people coming to games
That's why I put meaningful, both Delap and Philogene showed in the England under 21s greater decisiveness and direct attack - can't imagine LiamR doesn't encourage this, frustrated as feck today but almost felt meh in those last 30 seconds when they did another cut back and decisive shooting
I ****ing hate losing but I actually thought it was a good game today . Subs change games ours did nothing. LR gets stuff wrong but I liked how he set us up today. The result is not on him it’s on the players.
How many times are we going to keep saying this? We play well, keep ourselves in the game. We don’t turn it up to win the game others do. Midtable beckons under Rosenior
Yorkshire Post player ratings, sixes for everyone, other sevens for Delap, Philogene, Twine, Philogene and Morton and an eight for Allsop.
Charming. Thanks super mod First time I've ever had abuse on here, so if you could point me towards an ignore button that would be great. Thanks
Hull City boss Liam Rosenior told BBC Radio Hunberside: "To lose the game in the final minute, they're always the hardest ones to take, but for me there are a lot of good aspects to our play and there was a lot we need to eradicate from our game. "There were two very good footballing teams. They're two teams I see challenging at the top end of the table, but we won't unless we learn as a group. "The two goals we gave away were really. really poor today and in the Championship if you give poor goals away, no matter how good your play is, you're there to win, and that's what cost us today." Southampton manager Russell Martin told BBC Radio Solent: "It's a huge win for us playing against a very good team. "First half we were okay. It wasn't a poor performance at all. but out of possession there was not enough aggression or intensity, so we tweaked that a little bit at half-time which really helped us. "The second half I thought we were outstanding and I thought we got better as the game went on. Really dominant, really aggressive without the ball, the players fought so hard. "I really loved the energy in the second half. There was a big difference in the energy from first to second. It was a little bit safe and lacking that edge, but in the second half we brought that to the party, thankfully, and we won."
