I'm a massive Summerville fan.....BUT as I've said multiple times this season, I wish he'd just be a bit quicker releasing the ball so he can get on his bike again. His first goal today is a great example of what we need to see more of. Got it out of his feet and shot. His frustrating bits are his one on one first half where he is away and clear but tried to cut back inside instead of just drilling it low and hard. He'd probably double his goal tally if he took his shots a second earlier. The potential in young Jimmy is very very big though. He has everything needed to be a huge player at the highest level.
Good result for Farke today , embarrassing way to throw away 2 - 0 lead . The disallowed 3rd goal seemed a bit harsh , then we scored an own goal & collapsed. No hard feelings & good luck for the rest of the season .
That was us in a nutshell this season. Look incredibly dangerous going forward but always a little suspect at the other end. We missed some solid chances today in the first half but converted them in to goals in the 2nd half. It was a very open game and it reminded me of the last time we travelled that way when we beat Ipswich 4-3 a few weeks ago. FWIW I think you have the attacking talent to be a force this season. You'll win plenty of games. It's what happens in the games where your front players don't fire that will ultimately decide your fate. Good luck.
Brilliant stuff from Farke & the lads. Scored three away from home (again) and could easily have been 6 or 7
When they showed the replay of the disallowed goal, I did say to my lad, couldn't see much wrong there, not sure why it was disallowed but he reckons one of your players fouled Meslier.
