Jobe and Ekwah getting the run around through the middle of the park.

 

I'd have to see the full picture again, but I think the ref was completely the wrong side of it. Just unfortunate and the exact kind of decision VAR was designed* to correct.

*I'm not saying it always does.

 

Because he’s not playing in his normal position due to us not playing a striker. That’s why I was pissed off with the selection no need to disrupt a few players when we can play players in there natural position.

Showing how much we need Dan Neil - really missing him today. Losing the ball too much and not able to break up play.

 

Roberts is absolutely wasted in the middle of the pitch.

 

Adil on for Roberts for me at half time if we're keeping this playing with no striker

 

Dan Neil is a huge miss, even with Ekwah back. Jobe is a number 10 at this stage in his development for me.

It doesn't help that we've got no striker to stop the ball coming back though. I think we need that change at half time.

Yeah I agree. Stands out like a sore thumb. It's not the scoring goals it's the everything else that a striker and bigger player brings. Get Roberts out on the left and play off the striker. Only way we will get up the pitch and keep the ball.

Ref is a ****ing joke. 2 footed tackle by stoke seconds before he penalises Jobe for winning the ball cleanly
