It's transparent but appears blue due to the way the light refracts the white light of the sun. Blue light has a shorter wavelength and is scattered more by the particles and gases so makes the sky appear blue to the human eye. The sky is not actually blue though.
So the worst case scenario coming out at the moment is 3 years which is likely to be reduced by 50% to 18 months. There is also then the potential for some of it to be suspended, and it's likely that some if it will be, so the actual football ban is less. Got to say that 3 years and it's hard to see a way back for him at the top level. 18 months is manageable but horrific, anything around the year mark we can deal with. Obviously still bad but he can at least improve other aspects and come back similar or better. If it's 2+ years I don't think we'll see him in a Newcastle top again. ps. I maintain it will be 12 months. They will make an example of him. I reckon that he will be doing anything and everything to cooperate. I think it’s bad what he’s done btw. He must have done some serious bets.
If I was his accountant I would get him to pay zero tax too. Get that guy in jail, it would be funny.
It will initially only be applicable to playing in Italy ( we have already play Milan away so that's good news). Italian FA will then have to apply to FIFA for it to be extended internationally. That step took 2 months with Italian Director of football at Spurs. So he could still be playing until end of this year.
