Next summer we have players who are out of contract and lessons need learning about its not always wise to give out new contracts and with some it’s best to just allow them to go.
    1. Liam Cooper
    2. Luke Ayling
    3. Stuart Dallas
    4. Byram
    5. Shackelton
    6. Poveda
    7. Bate
Bate needs looking at as he is worth a lot of money and allowing him to leave would be stupid. Cody Drameh is also out of contract in the summer but we allowed him to go out on loan and that guarantees us compensation from wherever he ends up. So either offer Bate a new deal and loan him out or loan him out knowing he will sign for someone and get compensation and add a sell-on clause. Failing to and just allow him to walk I don’t believe compensation and tribunal is more complex. One report today says Leeds not planning on offering Cooper a new deal because they are keeping Wober?
So we will probably be sending out some players in January either on loan or sold:

    1. Bate
    2. Shackelton
    3. Poveda
    4. Gelhardt
    5. McGurk
    6. Sonny Perkins recalled and sent somewhere else
    7. Meslier has been told by France to leave, will he?
LMAO when I heard this but Everton may be in a lot of trouble and it could well be that the proposed 777 Holdings takeover collapses within hours. It would also mean big trouble for the new stadium which is almost built.

Well Marcelo Bielsa as manager of Uraguay took his win ratio up to 67% since taking over. Uruguay beat Brazil for the first time in 22 years which sent football fans mental. And his team stopped Brazil from having more than 2 shots at goal. He also sorted Darwin Nunez out for Klopp and showed him how to score again. Played 6, 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss.

Wage Caps are on the agenda for Premier League clubs. Meetings this week of prem clubs to plan the future. This was predicted to be part of a slow March of changes to be implemented due to the number of American owners. TV rights and platforms will be the next biggy.

I have no idea what our best team is, which is great. The last season and a half I knew what it was but injuries and shyte tactics made it a pointless exercise. I think we won’t know our first 11 until the January window closes as we will be bringing in at least 2 players.our bench looks a lot stronger than the last couple of years and it looks like everyone who gets on the coach could do a job. Hats off to FARKE.

For those of us who like golf and especially The Open, sadly the voice of Ivor Robson won’t be heard anymore as he passed away yesterday. His voice was a friendly, sincere, soft Scottish lilt and he was an ever present starter for every golfer luckily to be stood on the first tee, to be introduced to-the gallery and tv viewers.

I would be extremely surprised if we kept Wober after he said he would stay, got made captain, then changed his mind, refused to play and ****ed off. Can’t see the fans giving him a warm welcome back.

Completely agree but this came from a story that’s buzzing about supposedly from a yank? Not sure if 49ers yank or a Ben Jacobs type yank

Also, could you imagine Farke wanting him back after being publicly embarrassed by him in that way?

    Wage caps,
Will not work as you can cap the 'wages' but players will be able to earn income via merchandising, tv adds etc.
    That horse has bolted.
And the saudis can blow the european wages out of the water.
Bottom line, the PL should stop whinging as the sky money gave them far more financial clout than any other league.

Correct and another reason ir won’t happen is it would be the top six most impacted. Of course they could always give those six clearance to carry on doing what they want

Don’t for a minute think the European Super League has gone away. Too many big clubs believe they have a right to earn more because of their pulling power. The way FIFA and EUFA are dictating what happens in football and organising world cups etc which is injuring their players because of too much football squashed into a short time. Its going to kick off again before long

I’ve thought about this for many months and I’d welcome the super league if the top six left the pl. we’d actually be left with a league many of the rest of us could aspire to compete properly in instead of the bull that now exists. As it stands the pl is as interesting as international football. No different

As mentioned in last weeks weekend debate Napoli are losing one of the best strikers in the world because they ridiculed him a club social media post. All the worlds top clubs are chasing him. The owner of Napoli is a buffoon, but he’s under investigation for cooking the books and will probably have engineered this so he can cash in on the player

I see Jack Harrison has slagged off Bielsa in an interview he gave to some toffees rag. Bielsa the coach who brought him from obscurity and made him into the player he is. “he had us running like mad men……” another one I dont want to see back

Just stating facts really Doc. Another reason Bielsas tactics couldn’t work in pl. he demanded hard work from his players and the Prima Donna’s of the pl don’t like hard work. Also means Harrison doesn’t work as hard now so that’ll work out well I’m sure

Harrison. Just another average player who can’t see he wouldn’t be a premier league player if not for Bielsa. Lucky for him that the promoted teams are so poor this year or he’d be a championship player with Everton again. Another one who threw Bielsa under the bus.

Also maybe Everton should have had a points deduction a couple of seasons ago and should already be battling relegation in the Championship and could even have gone into L1 by now. Lets be honest Everton heated the system by three times, so in reality the clubs fighting relegation were playing with a loaded deck. Burnley are arguing they shouldn’t have been relegated and Leeds and Leicester are saying the same for last season I remember Dyche kicking off about it when his Burnley team got relegated but now he’s in charge of Everton bet he thinks different now

Great win today and although FARKE takes plenty of kudos for what he’s done, think it’s only fair that Victor Orta takes the credit for over half of the players in todays squad and not included Ayling or Cooper in that. That should explode some heads <laugh>

Seems some disagree but thought Struijk was outstanding today and probably would have had him MOTM if it wasn't for Summerville's brilliant goals <ok>

Georginio is worth every penny Orta agreed to pay for him and in fact it's turning into a bit of a coup to get him in when we did. That won't stop the moaners saying we should have signed a Che Adams instead though.
