Alright chaps just wanted your thoughts on Campbell and what he will bring to the side.

We have all seen him in the past but our side has changed since he was last involved, Bent has gone, Gyan has arrived and we have been playing different.

What impact do you think Campbell will have on his return and how?

I think Fraizer will fit into the side BETTER now.

Reason is, his pace, if he can get on the shoulder of people, with Sessegnon's pace on the ball and eye for a pass, FC could find himself getting a lot of runs in behind, whether it's chances for himself, or opportunities to look for Gyan.

Look forward to his return, and a rapturous ovation for the lad. Him and Gyan could be perfect, Campbell is a bit more composed, a bit more of a 'thinker', whereas Gyan is instinctive and unpredictable.

As your title suggest, i think he will be a breath of fresh air, like a new signiung and he will add pace up front to what already is a fast forward line but most of all, he'll give SB massive options to play with up front.

I'd like to see what he can do on the right wing with Sess on the left with Catts and Muntari holding the middle together, Gyan, Ricco or Wellbeck up front. Would be a lightening quick attack.

I agree he should thrive and I think he is the possible replacement for Welbeck when he goes. Before his inury he was on fire but seldom playing in the striker role.

If we can get through the next few games and get the players back from injury O relly think we will be a very, very good side and importantly a very good squad.

Agree with you welder pace up front is starting to look awesome and as I said before sess looks the business starting to get quite excited again for the rest of the season. just think we need turner back and mensah to stay fit. We certainly need to tighten up at the back and i think turner along side bramble could be our best option

First of all, when is he due to start playing again?
As for the original question, for me it depends on the lads form. If he can quickly get back to the form he was showing before his injury, then I feel that he and Gyan could be absolutely great for each other. Here's hoping..:emoticon-0148-yes:

Hes back in training now and with a few games under his belt to get up to speed, the end of season fun in looks very promising.

One things for sure, this 2 week break will give him time to get fitter so i think we might see him ready for the Liverpool game. There's a good Video of him on the club website, he seems very upbeat about it all and looking forward to playing again. Give it a look.

I like Campbell. Cant wait for him comin back. Hope he has the faith in himself he needs to move on from his injury. If he comes back confident, the boy will be class.

I just hope he's not brought back too quick as it looked like Meyler's return might have been a tad premature

fc will be like a new sighning when he returns, but dont expect to much, only 12 games left, so probably wont be flying again till next season, wellbeck may return in a few games and it will take a few games to get back to full fitness, then he will be off back to ot. so too much is going to be on these young lads shoulders, i still feel bruces insistance on not getting a new striker in jan is going to cost us a euro place. a top striker would have paid dividents and then fc could have been our new sighning for the new season with no rush

Agree, I doubt we’ll really see the best of him until last few games of this season if I’m being honest
