I have one. A friend of mine who knows I like watching football assumes I must like reading about footballers so she bought me one as a present. I might read it one day...
I have gerrard's 2006 "I'm amazing" book and even read it but never before nor since. it was also a present
I went through a phase of reading them. Gerrard, Kenny, Carragher, Fowler, Barnes, Rob Jones, Pele, Maradona, etc. The Pele book was a hard read because he spent his entire career in Brazil so was talking about things a didn't understand. The Brazil national team side was very good though. Gazza's book was great at the start but you want to top yourself by the end; second half is all about his troubles, depression, divorces, etc. I've got three unread at home. Must have bought them about 12yrs so now and no longer have any interest in reading them. Not a book but I watched the first three episodes of 'Beckham' last night. Very interesting to see it from their perspective. And looking back, the amount of **** he got after France 98 was unreal. He must have very mixed feelings about the 98-99 season; abuse everywhere he went (and and off the pitch) and opposition players targeting him all season too but went on to win the treble.
Just had a phone call woman "hello i'm ringing from the waiting list team at the hospital" me "ok" woman "You are on the list and we wondered if you could come in for the procedure this Sunday at 1.30" me " blimey ! ..err yeah that'll be fine" woman"i'll send a confirmation letter but you probably won't get it " one off the 7.2m
i'll try to remember to thank them though might wait to see how good the quack is as i've had some who were dreadful at this procedure
Hope it goes well mate. Hopefully they don't **** up and give you breast implants by mistake (Unless that's the plan)
well as it turned out not on off the 7.2m as after their tests i have an infection so they gave me a prescription for antibiotics though not one the pharmacists were happy with for technical reasons . The doc did offer to slam some antibiotics in my arse and go ahead with the procedure with a 1% chance of getting sepsis which i didn't consider worth the risk. Now just waiting again .
King Charles to remove Prince Harry's title as a Royal Highness (HRH) and his military appointments is a significant one. It is a sign that the royal family is taking a more hardline stance with Harry and Meghan Markle, who have been increasingly critical of the institution in recent years. The removal of Harry's HRH title means that he will no longer be able to use it in an official capacity. He will also no longer be able to use the title "Prince" in his personal life. This is a significant downgrade in status for Harry.
but great for the next book. As if anyone gives a flying **** what the pampered royals are infighting about this week.
The Harry formerly known as Prince. Sure he can. He can call himself King Harry if he wants. He won't legally be King (or Prince) but anyone can call themselves anything they want to be called. I personally hope Harry starts referring to himself as HRH King Harry, just to piss Charlie off.
