100% he's a good footballer with bags of potential going forwards. TBH if it's 8 months it's the same as a cruciate but without the rehab mentally and physically so could be worse.
Assuming he gets banned which seems likely ? I just don't think he's been overly impressive and at times unreliable.
I agree but he hasn't so I'm not too fussed personally. I'd say willock and Joelinton are better options.
I have to agree Longstaff has improved but I think Anderson is going to be a superior player... not sure either will get much of a sniff mind in another few years.
Me too. Last year I had my doubts about him but this year, with more game time, he has grown in confidence. He just needs to start taking the chances he gets.
Looks stronger... he's only like 20 England sniffing around him to stop him playjng for scotland ... obviously the people in the game know he's got something
He's been decent but hardly set the world alight yet. Plus Joelinton and Willock are coming back into the team, and we have Anderson playing more of a part this season. Yes we'll miss him, but it won't be major. And I can see us bringing in some cover in Jan.
In what world do you sign a 55m player, lose him for a year (probably), and it not be a miss to the team. I like you Roy but this thread is bait.
