If a man who scored 30 goals last season started this one with low confidence what chance have the others got <laugh>

No coincidence that he was scoring when the team was clicking.

That moment against galatasaray where he didn't want to shoot and instead tried to lay the ball across (badly) doesn't suggest someone who's sulking bcos he wants to play the central striker role. It highlights his lack of confidence, even the lay off was weak.

He's the type of player if we start passing it about, threading balls through and he gets a couple of goals, you'll see him go on another run of 20-30.

I really really hope you're right but for me his body language is suggesting sulk <laugh>

Exactly, the manager has not changed his "system" or "philosophy for Van Gaal", he just hasn't yet had a full squad to pick from yet and is still a way off that position.
Right! By your argument, no manager will ever get sacked because, after all, the prior season, they were great. What kind of ridiculous argument is that? Besides, let's not act as though we were world-beaters last season. We were not! We lost to most of the big teams and some very damagingly.

Also, I've posted why this is a ridiculous claim about injuries. To keep suggesting lackluster performances over and over again is simply down to a lack of resources because of injuries when we have been beaten by so many teams with far fewer resources illustrates how stupid that claim is just to shield the manager from any sensible critique. Just revert to the injuries.

Now, things certainly have to get better. But it is ETH that needs to change his methods and application for that transformation to start. If he continues the way we are right now, you can guarantee that the wheels will eventually fall off beyond repairs. He probably would have been close to being sacked if not for god of football watching down on the poor team yesterday.

He's definitely sulking.

He mopes about if he's not playing where he wants to play, which is off the left, not as central striker. So, he mopes if he's on the right and he mopes if he's central.

Towards the end of the Rangnick period, I sat there at the ground and watched him tell whoever it was not to pass to him. He verbally did not want the ball. This was on the right hand side by the way.

He's clearly got issues of some sort but we've got to stop excusing him, he's a passenger at the moment and needs to dropped, for everyone's good.

Ten Hag needs to root that out and pick Garnacho ahead of him. Someone who would play anywhere on the pitch for the team.

We never should be persistently noticing such behaviours from a player that’s on the pitch. Get him off until he gets his fkin head straight! He’s as bad as Onana in costing us games.

Yet again stories are beginning to emerge of a grass in the dressing room and of unrest among some caused by ETH's uncompromising attitude and his treatment of both CR and now Sancho. Hopefully this is nothing more than newspaper bollocks, but these rumours aren't new, talk of leaks from inside the camp have been around for months. If he exists, ETH needs to find the grass and get rid.

If there was a grass then we'd be seeing reports of incidents from the dressing room, training pitch etc?

There's nothing other than the very public tweet from Sancho.

So atm I call it anti-United media bullshit.

Btw that doesn't mean there isn't one or more who's a disruption in the dressing room. The bad apple as it were. But that's not the same thing.

It’s inevitable. The challenge is that when things are not going the right way, it gives credence to any negative chatter. When results change, the chatters will become noise.

I love the smirk on Sir Alex’s face after Veron’s goal! What a legend?!

Antony’s ex-girlfriend lawyer has just left the case which throws the whole accusation into a farce.
